Accident On The Set Of 'The Expendables 2' Kills One Stuntman & Injures AnotherBad news for "The Terminator" sequel? While that remains the big elephant in the room at the moment, Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't slowing down his comeback train one iota. He's wrapped his work on "The Expendables 2" with his old pal Sly (who himself just landed "The Tomb" that Arnie was also eyeing at one point), is currently shooting Kim Ji-Woon's gritty thriller "The Last Stand" and now has a project he'll tackle next spring.

James Cameron Convinced To Join Brainstorming Sessions, But Not Officially InvolvedWhile it the success of "Fast Five" has put Justin Lin on the hot list for movie projects around town, things just haven't quite been going his way this summer. While he's been wishlisted/shortlisted for projects like "The Wolverine" and "Die Hard 5" he has turned down those opportunities, and last month he exited the "Highlander" remake he had been attached to for a couple of years. All of this was with his eye firmly on a new 'Terminator' movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but alas, it looks like the stars won't aligning for him to work on the project.

And More We Learned From Lee & The Commemorative Screening Of '25th Hour' At New York's Film Society of Lincoln CenterOn September 11th, the Walter Reade Theater in New York City hosted a special screening of “25th Hour.” Still as alive and vital as it was upon its release nine years ago, the film serves as a historical landmark as the first picture to shoot in New York City following the 9/11 attacks (we ranked it very high on our list of best films of 2002 when we did our decade wrap-up in 2010).

The end of a political career and an illustrious marriage means that, age be damned, Arnold Schwarzenegger is jumping back into action movies. With roles in "The Expendables 2" and "The Last Stand," Arnie's loudly announced he's not done, and it looks like that will continue with "Captive." Arnie plays an American real estate magnate (hahahaha) who is kidnapped and held for ransom, while a detective races against the clock to find him. Unfortunately for us (and them?) Arnie's being held captive in an armored truck hidden in a landfill. Wait, so it's like Schwarzenegger's "Buried"? Groan.

In the blockbuster world, you've got your character actors, your heroes, and your villains. What's needed beyond that is the random scene stealer, the one who seems like he's walked off the set of a completely unrelated movie. Who, if a good guy, never seems entirely trustworthy, and if bad, always seems like he's having a better time than everyone else. Enter Peter Stormare, a guy who's got more scenery in his stool than Shepperton Studios, who has managed to be shot at, blown up million of times, who has alternately saved, and almost destroyed the world. And now, he's going up against Arnold Schwarzenegger, as he's the first co-star announced for Arnie's upcoming "The Last Stand."

Confirms He'll Direct 'Fast And Furious 6' As His Next ProjectEXCLUSIVE: Earning over $600 million worldwide, "Fast Five" is one of the biggest hits of the year, and not only is it the most successful entry in the franchise so far, director Justin Lin proved there is still plenty of fuel in the tank and Universal agrees -- they have already dated a sequel for May 24, 2013. The film launched Lin into tentpole territory, with the studio landing the rights to "The Terminator" sequel for the director. And while the project will have to wait until series star Arnold Schwarzenegger gets the gritty thriller "The Last Stand" out of the way first, Lin is already getting his creative juices flowing.

'Cry Macho' On Hold Or Possibly DeadIt has been a pretty ugly year for Arnold Schwarzenegger thus far. While it started off promisingly with the former Governor heading back into films with his choice of plum projects, things quickly took a downward spiral. His proposed cartoon "The Governator" was a complete embarrassment and then the scandal and subsequent divorce proceedings by his ex-wife Maria Shriver caused all Arnie projects to be put on hold. Well, there's no better way back into the hearts of America than by blowing some shit up and while he was initially tipped to do the far more sensitive horse trainer drama thingy "Cry Macho" that has now been put on the back-burner.

After eight long years away from the movies in favor of, you know, being the governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger was on his way to an acting comeback in a big way. After circling several projects, the Austrian Oak agreed to star in the drama "Cry Macho," about a horse trainer in a kidnapping plot from "The Lincoln Lawyer" director Brad Furman, before reprising his most iconic role in a new "Terminator" film directed by "Fast Five" helmer Justin Lin.
