Rooney Mara, Ain't Them Bodies Saints
After seeing "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, we said in our review that it's "a wholly engrossing and impressive piece of work that the movie world will be talking about all year long." Indeed, the chatter around the well-received film is likely to continue as it heads to the south of France next week to screen for international audiences and critics. And today we have some exclusive images from the movie, which is one of our 15 Most Anticipated Indie Films Of The Summer.

It looks like we'll have to wait for our "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" reunion between Kirsten Dunst and Mark Ruffalo. But for writer/director Adam Rapp, he's likely glad that though he's lost one great actor from his film, an equally great replacement has stepped up.

Though it boasted a script from the venerable Peter Morgan ("The Queen," "Frost/Nixon") with an all-star cast and Fernando Meirelles ("City Of God," "The Constant Gardener") at the helm, "360" was coolly received when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall. But there are just too many intriguing elements to ignore, and with the film arriving in theaters later this summer, a new trailer has landed giving a good overview of the flick.

After a busy week, you'll excuse Rooney Mara's agents if they turn off their cell phones and have a much earned nap. In the last few days the actress has signed on to replace Carey Mulligan in Spike Jonze's upcoming film, and taken a lead role in the upcoming adaptation of Colm Toibin's "Brooklyn." And now to close off the week, she's landed another gig that will see her star opposite two of our favorite actors.

Despite naturalistic performances by leads Ben Foster and Lubna Azabal ("Incendies," "Coriolanus") and impressive cinematography by Lol Crawley ("Ballast," "Four Lions"), Braden King's "Here" is a maundering relationship movie with few stakes and even less to say.

"It was pretty obvious to me [Universal] weren't jumping head over heels to make a war film in the Middle East right now," Peter Berg said way back in 2009. "So they said, 'What if you give us 'Battleship' for July 2011, and we guarantee you'll follow with 'Lone Survivor'? " While the timeline may have shifted, it looks like a deal is a deal and the studio is making good on their word (it probably didn't hurt that "Act Of Valor" topped the box office over the weekend either) and ramping up Peter Berg's Navy SEALs flick "Lone Survivor."

It's clear at this point that Ben Foster and Oren Moverman are pretty much bros for life. The actor took the lead role in Moverman's directorial debut "The Messenger," and last year cropped up with a small role in "Rampart," which marked the first film from the pair's joint production company Third Mind Pictures. While Moverman is busy on everything ranging from a script for a Brian Wilson biopic to potential directorial outings "The Terrorist Search Engine," with Jesse Eisenberg, a biopic of movie mogul David O Selznick with Ben Stiller, and period drama "The Big Blow," he'll pair with Foster to produce Steve Buscemi's Moverman-penned William Burroughs adaptation "Queer," with Guy Pearce and Kelly Macdonald, and it looks like they're going to squeeze in another collaboration this year as well.

Whenever Mark Wahlberg is a producer on a film he's starring in, he sits down with the director and the casting director (usually Sheila Jaffe) and comes up with a wish list of who he'd like to be in the cast -- "Contraband" is the first time he got "our first choice for most of the parts in the film."
