It's all well and good giving your spec script a taboo-busting, attention-grabbing title: names like "Fuck Buddies" or "I Want To Fuck Your Sister" certainly stand out from the pack, and both of those examples landed on the Black List in past years. But when it comes to actually making the damn thing, you're gong to have to make some kind of compromise, or you're going to have a movie that doesn't have any advertising.

Whether this shapes up to be the most expensive trainwreck sequel of all time or is salvaged into something watchable, the myriad problems surrounding "Men In Black 3" are certainly no secret. But there's one reason we'll hit the multiplex to watch this: Bill Hader playing Andy Warhol.

Considering that it was both a reasonable box office success -- it took in close to $200 million worldwide -- and fairly warmly received (even picking up an Oscar nomination for Robert Downey Jr), it's surprising the extent to which the 2008 all-star comedy "Tropic Thunder" has slipped from memory -- we enjoyed it, but it's certainly not a film we find ourselves ever rewatching. But there's one aspect of the film that backers at Paramount are certainly keen to keep alive: Les Grossman, the vulgar, hirsute studio executive played by Tom Cruise in an against-type, near-career-reviving cameo in Ben Stiller's film.

SNL Funnyman Says Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons, Donald Glover & More Will Star In Film Written By His WifeEXCLUSIVE: We haven't been shy in expressing our infatuation with comedic actress Aubrey Plaza. Though she doesn't have too many notches on her belt, her turns in "Funny People," "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and "Parks and Recreation" are extremely impressive, displaying a young talent with a knack for comedic timing and wit. Whether it's keeping up with Seth Rogen's deadpan, dry deliveries in Judd Apatow's last picture or actively (and abrasively) berating Michael Cera in Edgar Wright's underrated gem, Plaza did it all effortlessly and showed that she was more than just a one-note actress with a cute face. She's gonna be somebody, she's gonna be a contenda.

Alexander Woo Writing; Ben Stiller's Red Hour Films To Produce Dark Comedy About American Comedian/ImpersonatorEXCLUSIVE: When comedians are hired for a film, it's generally so they can do the familiar and funny thing they're known for, so it's refreshing to see Bill Hader play against type in Greg Mottola's sci-fi road-trip film, "Paul," as what essentially is the psychopath villain, perhaps not unlike Robert Patrick as the T-1000 in "Terminator 2" -- his character is a man on a mission that won't be stopped.

From The Playlist U.K.: The pubs of London are littered with the carcasses of British comedy stars who weren't able to convert their TV success to the big screen. Countless sitcom actors made awkward, unfunny film debuts, and even big names like Ricky Gervais and Steve Coogan have mostly tripped over in the cinema. The principle exceptions in recent years, however, have been the "Spaced" duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, who, in reuniting with the director of that show, Edgar Wright, produced two bona-fide comedy classics in "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz."

Talk about calling in favours. For their newest video "Moves," The New Pornographers and director Tom Scharpling have enlisted a ridiculously stacked line up of comedians, musicians and other indie-world folk to star, and the results are pretty charming -- though it's kind of too bad the entire video peaks with the fake trailer that opens it up.

Judd Apatow-Produced 'House Of Joel' Comedy Project Is Still Very Much Alive, Has A 'Human Giant' Writer OnboardAt the red carpet premiere for "True Grit," we took the opportunity to ask Bill Hader about a certain impending project, a certain big-time sequel that may reunite a certain beloved cast. Less than a month ago, word got out that Sony was eying Hader, Will Forte and Anna Faris as potential proton-pack wielders in "Ghostbusters 3." And then Dan Aykroyd himself confirmed that Hader was one of the "strong possibilities."
