Sons Of Anarchy Poster
First fans of FX’s popular biker gang series "Sons of Anarchy" exulted in a skull-tastic teaser poster, and now they can rejoice in the first trailer for the seventh and final season. The brief trailer focuses on Jax’s (Charlie Hunnam) thirst for revenge and his struggles to keep his club together. As usual, the show promises plenty of drama, gunplay, all kinds of badassery and of course, bikes. Lots and lots of bikes.

Guillermo del Toro's next phantasmagorical outing is getting a new moniker. His forthcoming Gothic romance "Crimson Peak," starring the scarily great Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Charlie Hunnam and Tom Hiddleston, has been given the more anonymously spooky title "Haunted Peak" and a tentative release date of April, 2015. Shooting begins in February at Pinewood Toronto Studios and lasts until May. In between now and then, del Toro will direct the pilot for "The Strain," an FX series based on a trilogy of lousy vampire novels the filmmaker co-wrote with "The Town" scribe Chuck Hogan.

Jamie Dornan
"I have had some family stuff going on so just trying to stay focused and stay positive and keep trying to do a good job at work and be with my family and stay positive," Charlie Hunnam said evasively late last week and that was about the closest anyone will get to hearing why the "Sons Of Anarchy" star dropped out of "Fifty Shades Of Grey." No matter, a replacement has been found. Among the original list of contenders revealed just a few days after Hunnam dropped out of Universal's project, ABC's "Once Upon A Time" star Jamie Dornan has nabbed the coveted role of Christian Grey.

As Universal scrambles to keep "Fifty Shades Of Grey" on track after the shocking departure of Charlie Hunnam, and while fans of the "Twilight" fan fiction turned erotica bestseller continue to hit the interwebs with their various petitions and pleas for their fave replacements, behind-the-scenes details of what went down are emerging. And while Hunnam himself has yet to speak on the matter and the official studio line is that scheduling with "Sons Of Anarchy" got in the way, a more complicated picture is being painted. One that perhaps saw a mix of unease about the part, low pay and lack of creative input kiboshing Hunnam's interest.

Breaking: "Pacific Rim" star Charlie Hunnam has dropped out of Focus/Universal's "Fifty Shades of Grey." The studio is citing a sort of scheduling conflict with his FX motorcycle club drama "Sons Of Anarchy," but it could be code for the already-coded "creative differences."

Watch: 'Pacific Rim' Gag Reel Proves Guillermo Del Toro's Monster Movie Was At Least Fun To Make

Whether you thought Guillermo Del Toro's "Pacific Rim" was the most original blockbuster of the year (until you saw "Gravity") or a hodgepodge of the director's genre faves that didn't really step outside the clichés of the summer spectacle, there is no doubt that it was a massive undertaking. And while a highly technical, VFX driven movie can sometimes make for a set that is serious and focused on getting it right, especially with the large amounts of studio money on the line, most sets aren't run by del Toro.

Tom Hiddleston Replaces Benedict Cumberbatch In Guillermo Del Toro's 'Crimson Peak'

The speculation that followed Benedict Cumberbatch's exit from Guillermo del Toro's R-rated Gothic romance "Crimson Peak" was deafening and absurd, most of it hinged around the fact that the star (whose "The Fifth Estate" just opened the Toronto International Film Festival) was supposedly leaving to headline J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII." When that turned out to be patently false, people sort of forgot about the spot that he had left in "Crimson Peak," a spot that has just been filled with an equally charming British dandy: Tom Hiddleston.

To an actor, a franchise is an attractive thing: it could mean years (maybe even decades) of solid, dependable work, with each subsequent installment usually incentivized to some degree and with the sense of community and family growing with each outing (many of the "Harry Potter" actors, both young and old, equated the experience to going back to school). In the mad scramble for big studio parts, a franchise is a sturdily proven gig. Which makes actors who pass on potential franchises somewhat baffling (remember when Josh Hartnett was repeatedly courted for Superman?)... Yet pass they do. While Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson ended up scoring the pivotal leads in "Fifty Shades of Grey," a number of Hollywood's elite passed on the project. Franchise schmanchise.

"American Psycho" author and "Canyons" screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis hasn't been coy about his feelings regarding E.L. James' bestselling "Fifty Shades of Grey," mostly in stream-of-conscious Twitter rants where he makes casting suggestions and volunteers himself for the role of the film's screenwriter (a job that already went to "Saving Mr. Banks" writer Kelly Marcel). Following the news of Charlie Hannam and Dakota Johnson in the highly anticipated sequel, Ellis has fired back with details from a conversation he had with James about who should star in the film (oh okay it's everyone's favorite sparkly vampire Robert Pattinson). Also, get a look at Pattinson's gorgeous Dior Homme fragrance commercial, directed by the great Romain Gavras.

It's a been a little while since we've had any news surrounding the "mommy porn" adaptation, "Fifty Shades Of Grey." While the brewing movie gained a director this summer in Sam Taylor-Johnson, casting continues to elude fans, with only rumor and speculation kicking around at the moment. We've seen a number of names tossed around thus far for the leads of Christian and Anastasia—Felicity Jones, Emma Watson, Stephen Amell, Elizabeth Olsen, Alex Pettyfer, Shailene Woodley, Alicia Vikander—but it's basically been a mix of wishful thinking. But now you can tell your Mom to start considering a couple of other folks.
