Sci-fi is a hard sell, generally speaking, at the box office, even if it's based off a beloved book like Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game." However, those who have actually read the novel have been wondering just how it will translate onto the big screen? It's not necessarily the most action-driven piece of writing, and the concept is pretty ambitious. Can Hollywood make it work, even while filling all the requirements of the four quadrant tentpole? Well, the first trailer is here to perhaps answer that question.

Harrison Ford isn't an easy interview at the best of times. Prickly, distant and not one to suffer fools easily, an interview with Harrison Ford isn't so much a professional courtesy as a death match, where any journalist hopes to come out at least half alive. And undoubtedly, Ford will be pushed to the limit when it comes to "Star Wars," and his rumored involvement in J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode 7." So leave it to Jimmy Kimmel to brilliantly riff off Ford's persona, with the actor gamely playing along.

Destiny swings a big stick in Brian Helgeland's "42." It underlines every pivotal moment of Jackie Robinson's career captured in the two hour film, often working as baggage keeping the film earthbound, at times making it unnecessarily weighty. It's also probably the major reason why a number of mainstream critics will wag a finger at this unapologetic, old-fashioned hero yarn seemingly stitched from the similarly modest DNA of 1950's "The Jackie Robinson Story." What seems like a high fidelity to history is actually an acknowledgement and deep respect, the kind most modern filmmakers and viewers would likely find alien.

Given the secrecy around "Anchorman 2" aka "Anchorman: The Legend Continues," you might think that Christopher Nolan was producing the movie. However, it's a bit surprising that The World's Hardest Interview, Harrison Ford, managed to open up about his role in the movie, in which he reportedly plays a "legendary newsman." And for all he knows, he could wind up not being in sequel at all.

George Lucas Confirms Negotiations For Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher & Harrison Ford For 'Star Wars: Episode 7'
So, let's just recap where we're at. In February, we saw a lot of chatter start surfacing about the original "Star Wars" cast returning for "Star Wars: Episode 7" with Harrison Ford reportedly confirmed, Carrie Fisher seemingly saying she was back too (though her rep now says she was joking) while Mark Hamill stated he actually hadn't signed yet. All of this talk was further buoyed when more news surfaced that said the trio were indeed coming back, and the plot for 'Episode 7' would center on their children. In short, there has been a lot of signs pointing in the direction they'll be back, but not much in the way of official word. Well, George Lucas himself has now commented.

So yeah, just like Frank Vitchard didn't see it coming when his arm got cut off during the news anchor rumble in "Anchorman," nor did we see this. But now that we do, we will dance until the sun rises.

Abrams and company endeavor to keep the lid tightly sealed on whatever they're cooking up for "Star Wars: Episode VII," reading between the lines of reports over the past few months, it is starting to emerge that the lineage to the first trilogy of films will be pretty direct. Particularly is this bit of info turns out to be true.

So, how did veteran Harrison Ford help rising young actor Asa Butterfield during the production of "Ender's Game"? By not being too chummy once they broke for the day. “The relationship between [Harrison] and Asa was very close,” director Gavin Hood told EW, “but he didn’t overly befriend him off the set. He helped Asa by allowing that slight sense of intimidation to be there.”
