The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby
This fall, Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy will come together and break apart in "The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby," but you'll have three ways to see the movie. You can watch at as it was first shown at TIFF last year, in two parts, "The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: His" and "The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Hers," or in the new single movie cut that played at Cannes, "The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Them." Either way, a new trailer is here no matter how you take it in.

One thing we resolved early on, having read around on the subject a little: to try, try, try to get through just the first sentence of our review of “Filth,” the Jon S. Baird-directed adaptation of Irvine Welsh’s novel, without mentioning “Trainspotting.” So, obviously, we’re pretty disappointed with ourselves. But disappointment is somewhat the order of the day, unfortunately, as it’s a comparison that occurred to us, not often to the benefit of "Filth," throughout our viewing of the film.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past
Well, knock us down with a feather. We'd been positively fearing "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" from afar. It had a been a while since the franchise peaked, and on paper, the giant cast list seemed to promise another "X-Men: The Last Stand"-style mess at best. Plus director Bryan Singer's last film, "Jack The Giant Slayer," was by some distance the worst of his career, and early marketing materials made it look like 'DOFP' had a tiny scope that belied its budget (the second most expensive in Fox's history, after "Avatar"), and made it seem like some kind of mid-'90s vision of the future.

X-Men: Days of Future Past
The perils of time travel plotting, and maintaining continuity and story logic, within the framework of an already-fantastical superhero universe, are not enviable for any filmmaker. But credit the folks behind “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” for not only negotiating the tricky liabilities of rewriting history, but also creating a world (and story) where if the timestream logic crumbles, it ultimately matters little.

The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby
The existence of "The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby" is one of the strangest things in recent American cinema. A first time writer-director, Ned Benson, managed to attract a killer cast at his first time at bat. The film, a New York-set relationship drama, was conceived, shot and screened at TIFF as a two-part, three-hour epic, subtitled "Him" and "Her," telling the same story from two different points of view (read our review). The Weinstein Company bought the rights.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past
As critical reaction rolls in for the super-sized sequel, audiences still have to wait another week to see how well Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg have pulled off the ambitious time-traveling plot of “X-Men: Days Of Future Past.” In the meantime, hundred-million dollar marketing campaigns stop for no one which is why there’s a new character "power piece," an interview with some of the mutant stars of the film, and a new featurette.

The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby
When the Cannes Film Festival lineup was revealed last month, there was a curious entry in the Un Certain Regard category: Ned Benson's "The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby." It was strange because, last September, the director hit the Toronto International Film Festival with a work-in-progress showing of the project as it was originally conceived—as two films: "The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: His" and "The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Hers" (read our review). The Cannes news made us wonder if Harvey Weinstein, who is signed up to distribute the film, had weighed in and kiboshed those original plans. The answer is much more complex, but the good news is, you'll be able to see all three cuts.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past,
"X-Men: Days Of Future Past" will be bringing in an orgy of mutants, with (nearly) everyone who has possessed a power at one time or another stopping by in Bryan Singer's time travel franchise entry. But when "X-Men: Apocalypse" drops in a couple of years, the focus will return back to the young, 'First Class' crowd and they take center stage in this latest clip.

X-Men Days Of Future Past
Don't be fooled. While Fox is touting this as the final trailer for "X-Men: Days Of Future Past," there is still a long month ahead before it hits theatres. And in that time, we're sure there will be no shortage of featurettes, clips, Instagram vids, Vines, skywriting and more for Bryan Singer's ambitious franchise entry. But before that, yes, it's the final trailer for the movie.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past
So, what is "X-Men: Days Of Future Past"? The ultimately comic book team up movie or something more steeped in genre? For director Bryan Singer, it's the latter the piqued his interest when approaching the sequel.
