Here's a project that has been stuck in development hell, that we kind of figured was left for dead. In various stages of development for nearly a decade, "We're The Millers" saw folks like directors John Morris and Sean Anders, and actors Will Arnett and Steve Buscemi go through the revolving door. Last summer reports surfaced that Jason Bateman would take over the lead role, but now it looks like another casting change up is in the works.

Morgan Spurlock doesn't sleep it seems. With his Comic Con doc heading into theaters, the busy documentarian has a new show premiring on Sky Atlantic titled "New Brittania" about the differences between Brits and Americans, and later this month, he's unveiling yet another documentary, "Mansome." And while we had little idea that this was getting made, not only is it done, it's set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

For a while there at the tail end of the '90s, it seemed like Amanda Peet was poised to be the next big thing. And then....well, that didn't exactly happen. Not that she stopped working, but it seems she wisely decided to work with respected talent on films like "Melinda & Melinda," "Syriana" and the severely underappreciated "Please Give" while still paying the bills with odd blockbusters like "2012" here and there. But her name is being mentioned a bit more these days. She's got a role in Terrence Malick's untitled romance, a new show on NBC, and now she's headed back to the big screen to deliver some comedy with two of the best in the business.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. With "Bridesmaids" arriving in theaters on May 13th last year and becoming one of the biggest comedies of 2011, and suprisingly, an awards season player, Universal isn't rocking the boat with the next big Melissa McCarthy comedy.

Very occasionally, the trades do something known in the journalism trade as "burying the lede" -- dropping a hint of a separate story in a piece about something else entirely, which can often be passed over at first glance. As it turns out, there's been a couple of examples of this in the last few days: potential projects hinted at by some names who've been in the news a lot of late.

First announced last summer, and expected to be Melissa McCarthy's first post-"Bridesmaids" starring project, not much had been heard about "Identity Theft" since. But it looks like the plans to shoot this during McCarthy's hiatus from the dreadful CBS sitcom "Mike & Molly" are coming together, as a director has been roped in.

While everyone likes to trumpet the summer success stories of "The Hangover Part II" and "Bridesmaids," one other R-rated comedy fared quite well also, though it hasn't been mentioned as often. "Horrible Bosses" was also a super-sized smash, with the workplace comedy scoring over $200 million worldwide, all on a minimal budget of $35 million. It seems people really like to see bosses getting their commeupance. Well, fans will be happy to know, the trio of Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis will once again face unruly employers as New Line is moving ahead with a sequel.

Showtime & Netflix Currently Vying For The Rights To Season 4The "Arrested Development" movie is the great white whale of internet fandom of the past few years. Originally airing in 2003, Mitchell Hurwitz's Fox sitcom has, over the years, enshrined its place as one of the great comedy series of all time, despite being canceled after three seasons. As the show's cast, which included Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Will Arnett and David Cross, went on to bigger things, the cult grew and grew, and rumors began to circulate that Hurwitz and the show's producer/narrator Ron Howard were planning to reunite the Bluths for a big-screen adventure.

There are probably no two busier people right now in Hollywood than Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde -- except for maybe Bryan Cranston -- but we like 'em both so no complaints from us, though their choice of upcoming projects does give us pause.

While it has been five years since Fox pulled the plug and "Arrested Development" went off the air, rumors of a potential movie have been rampant, but Hollywood (and series creator and writer Mitch Hurwitz) has so far been unable to wrangle everybody back together for one more story with the Bluth family. The monocle-wearing organizers of The New Yorker Festival, however have managed to do what no one else has been able to do since 2006: get the entire cast back together in one place at the same time.
