Norman Reedus,Walking Dead
John Hillcoat always nabs great casts. “Lawless” had Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Gary Oldman, Guy Pearce, I’m Not Famous Anymore, and many others. And now Deadline reports that “Walking Dead” dirtbag Norman Reedus has joined the cast of his latest, the contemporary cop thriller “Triple Nine.” This spectacular cast already includes Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Woody Harrelson, Aaron Paul, Teresa Palmer, Kate Winslet and Gal Gadot. Damyo. Nick Cave will likely write the score again.

While sequels are nothing new in Hollywood, one movie we perhaps didn't expect to go franchise was "Magic Mike." But Steven Soderbergh's stripper saga was a sensation, notching over $165 million worldwide. Not bad for an R-rated movie about the male strip scene. So work was started on a sequel (and Broadway show) and it looks like Channing Tatum and co. are going to get back on the pole very soon, at least according to Big Dick Richie.

Sabotage
With nary an Ahnold quip, "Sabotage," David Ayer's fetishistically violent action thriller, often feels like a misguided detour, a waste of goodwill amassed by the superior "End of Watch." Doing away with the concept that guided the 2012 cop drama but retaining and supercharging it's once-relatable hyper masculinity, "Sabotage" is wholly unpleasant, unfocused and downright ugly. Ayer's filmography has often cast an unflinching eye on battered, perforated bodies, but here the attention feels invasive and even a bit gleeful. Every wound is flaunted and a series of gruesome autopsies feature a hungry, roving camera, floating over the torn skin, the bloated flesh, stripping away the humanity. One character is literally reduced to ground meat and Ayer holds on the remains with an intent that is lost on us.

It's been a while since we've been able to go see an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie without having to drape ourselves in irony and wear our boots of nostalgia. But thankfully, "Sabotage" looks straight up legit—a pulpy B-movie that is firmly wearing its R-rating, and a new trailer is here to prove to you that Arnie has still got it.

Well, here's a weird sensation we haven't felt in a long time — excitement for a new Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. Okay, maybe "excitement" is overstating it a bit, but we're genuinely curious about "Sabotage," his upcoming flick co-written and directed by David Ayer because it actually looks kinda good. High art? Surely not, but perhaps a better than average B-movie which is all we could ask for.

Sabotage
After the flops "The Last Stand" and "Escape Plan," it's becoming a real question as to whether audiences want to see Arnold Schwarzenegger in anything that's not a pre-built franchise. But maybe surrounding him with a massive ensemble—Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello, Dawn Olivieri, Malin Akerman, Olivia Williams, Mirielle Enos and Josh Holloway—might get a few more people in the door.

There is no script, there are no formal offers or meetings taking place, and obviously, it's still the opening stages of development for "Superman Vs. Batman." And yet, casting the role of Bruce Wayne is going to be key for the next film, because it's likely whoever lands the gig will be wearing the cape and cowl for the inevitable "Justice League" and define the next iteration the character. And apparently, some possibilities are already being tossed around.

What Kind Of Batman Will Superman Face
This weekend at Comic-Con Warner Bros dropped a bombshell: instead of announcing a sequel to this summer's "Man of Steel" (or a full-on "Justice League" movie), they revealed they would instead be bringing a Batman/Superman team-up movie to the big screen. Once again overseen by the "Man of Steel" team of director Zack Snyder and writer David S. Goyer (with Christopher Nolan taking a distant executive producer role this time around) the movie will likely retain much of the "Man Of Steel" cast (including Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne), while folding in a presumably new Batman mythology. What they didn’t say was who would be putting on the cape and cowl. Let the speculation begin!

Though he’s still a current cast-member on “Saturday Night Live,” Jason Sudeikis still finds the time in his schedule for the big screen. And while he’s always been part of an ensemble, the “Horrible Bosses” actor is set to be the love interest in his very own romantic comedy opposite an actress who’s been in some hit comedies of her own.

It's likely just a matter of time before Joe Manganiello becomes a big deal on the big screen. The "True Blood" star was in the final batch of contenders to lead Zack Snyder's "Man Of Steel," and this summer he showed that his big physique was just as capable of delivering laughs in Steven Soderbergh's "Magic Mike." Now it looks like Manganiello's imposing bod will get another shot at proving he's multiplex muscle as the actor is gearing up to join a fast-moving cop thriller.
