No, you're not experiencing a time warp, a new Terminator movie is indeed on the way. And with production on the movie to begin soon to meet next summer's release date, some new details emerging about the sequel slated to star Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney and J.K. Simmons. And oh yeah, the guy who finds any and all opportunities to say "I'll be back," Arnold Schwarzenegger, will be returning too for "Terminator: Genesis," and he reveals to MTV how the Alan Taylor directed flick will explain the cyborg's older appearance.

Here's what we know so far: "Girls" star Adam Driver will be playing the villain in "Star Wars: Episode 7," while Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are widely expected to return in one way or another. Any other details are on lock down for the moment, but a few more names have dripped out as possibilities for what Variety is calling "the right Jedi to challenge Driver and the evil empire."

Pitch Perfect
One of the big sleeper hits of 2010, the musical comedy “Pitch Perfect,” grossed $115 million worldwide off a small $17 million dollar budget, so the Hollywood law of averages dictates a sequel must be made (even though the movie was a perfectly enjoyable, self-contained story that really needed no second chapter).

Imperial Dreams, John Boyega
There’s always at least one hidden treasure at Sundance that seems to go unnoticed by audiences and critics alike—with no real good answer as to why the buzz wasn’t loud enough to get more people talking about it—but it happens. This year, that gem is Malik Vitthal’s first shot at a feature film, the incredibly touching “Imperial Dreams,” which remixes the gangster rites of passage: you can take the gangster out of the hood, but can you take the hood out of the gangster?

While John Boyega broke out in a big way thanks to his magnetic turn in "Attack the Block," we haven't seen much from the actor since. He's taken small roles in some films that never really took ("Inkheart," "Half of a Yellow Sun") and he's at Sundance this week with "Imperial Dreams." But he's about to launch back into some major attention.

For all their success so far, the Marvel movies have, aside from a few smallish parts, been a pretty lilywhite affair to date: only Samuel L Jackson was a significant minority presence in "The Avengers." But signs are that the studio aren't going to keep that up for too long: yesterday, it was reported that the company are actively moving ahead with a movie about "Black Panther," the African prince-turned-crimefighter, and are targeting a release in 2014 or 2015.

When "Attack the Block" hit screens last summer, it almost immediately became everyone's favorite new cult hit. While we're still waiting with bated breath to find out what writer/director Joe Cornish will do next, someone who's taking considerably less time to line up his future projects is ATB's lead actor, John Boyega.

While Spike Lee has conquered both the big and small screen with feature films and documentaries, when it comes to television series', he's had far less luck. In 2004 he tried to get "Sucker Free City" up over at Showtime, a series that would've chronicled the disparate groups at play in the gentrification of San Francisco. After a two hour pilot (which wound up being screened at TIFF) it didn't go much further. And it seems another small screen effort has been put on hold before it ever really got started.

While "Attack The Block" didn't quite light up the box office this summer, the alien invasion flick firmly established itself as a new cult classic of the genre, and the film's star, John Boyega, emerged as a new talent to keep an eye on. Certainly, Spike Lee sat up and took notice, casting him in the lead of the HBO series he's producing. But before that, Boyega will have a small role in the upcoming British drama "Junkhearts" alongside Eddie Marsan, Tom Sturridge and Romola Garai, and it looks pretty promising.
