Coming of age stories are as popular at Sundance as superhero films are at the multiplex, and though “Terri” doesn’t bring anything new to the genre, it does have its charms. Terri (newcomer Jacob Wysocki) is an outsider, a lonely overweight teen who lives in a small town and takes care of his Uncle James (Creed Bratton from “The Office”) who is suffering from some form of dementia. After Uncle James orders him to put mousetraps in the attic, he develops an unexpected fondness for killing mice and it becomes his daily joy. Outside of this private pleasure, Terri has completely given up on himself, resorting to wearing his pajamas to school because they’re comfortable. Anyone in high school willing to put a target like that on their back implies that things probably can’t get any worse. After an outburst in class, following some routine bullying, he’s sent to see the Vice Principal, Mr. Fitzgerald (John C. Reilly) who decides in order to help Terri that they should meet weekly to discuss what’s going on in his life.

Comedians Faithfully Redo The Classic Bing Crosby/David Bowie Christmas DuetDavid Bowie (Will Ferrell) visits Bing Crosby (John C. Reilly) during the holidays to sing a mash-up duet of two Christmas classics, "Peace on Earth" & "The Little Drummer Boy." If you remember the original (also below the jump), their get-to-know-you conversation is pretty uncomfortable, hilarious and awkward. Crosby's line of questioning basically amounts to, "do you alien freaks do normal x-mas stuff besides anal rape and self-mutilation?" and Ferrell and Reilly do a good job of underscoring that vibe without underlining it too obviously. Both clips below.

James Gunn's "Super" Starring Rainn Wilson & Ellen Page Slotted For April 1, 2011After the underwhelming Michael Cera-led adaptation of "Youth In Revolt" early last year, director Miguel Arteta's next directorial effort, the road-trip comedy "Cedar Rapids" starring Ed Helms of "The Office" and "The Hangover" fame, has somewhat fallen off the radar. However, the film has now been handed a February 11th release date which may mean a premiere in January at the Sundance Film Festival. It also appears the film will start out in limited release.
