Let’s see, the new Coen brothers movie “Hail Caesar” has George Clooney, Josh Brolin Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes in it. Ok, sold already, but in case you need convincing (because you’re crazy), one more Coen Brothers alum is rejoining the fold: Scarlett Johansson, who co-starred in the siblings’ 2001 eerie existentialist drama “The Man Who Wasn’t There,” is joining the cast.

Review: 'How To Train Your Dragon 2' Is A Satisfying, If Slightly Inferior Sequel

How To Train Your Dragon 2
For most of their history, which has now lasted over 15 years ("Antz" and "The Prince Of Egypt" both debuted in 1998), DreamWorks Animation seemed to be content with making a quick buck and raising a cheap laugh. Some of their output was better than others (the original "Shrek" at one end of the scale, "Shark Tale" at the other), but even the better films paled in comparison to the output of arch-rivals Pixar, however profitable they are. These days, things have changed. For one, the company's films aren't all that profitable ("Rise Of The Guardians," "Turbo" and "Mr. Peabody & Sherman" all disappointed financially). But for another, the quality gap has closed, with Pixar hitting something of a creative rut, and DreamWorks putting out films that are as good as or better than their rivals. Well, one film, at least: 2010's "How To Train Your Dragon," which took an unpromising premise and turned it into something funny, exciting and emotionally satisfying in a way that relatively few of their films are.

22 Jump Street
Comedy sequel "22 Jump Street" lands on Friday, and as you'll know from our review, it's maybe the best movie of the summer so far, and certainly the funniest. But if you're someone who really hates jokes and laughing, there's some good news for you, because when the film hits DVD & Blu-ray at the end of the year, there'll be an alternate cut of the film without any gags in it.

22 Jump Street
Phil Lord and Chris Miller have built a career out of making things work that really should not have worked. Coming off only the short-lived cult animated series "Clone High," and a brief year on "How I Met Your Mother," the duo made their feature debut with "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs," an adaptation of a 34-page children's picture book that looked pretty poor on paper, and turned out to be something of a treat for people of any age. Then, they took on a reboot of '80s cop show "21 Jump Street," starring the much-mocked Channing Tatum, and turned it into a fresh and funny spin on both the high school and the buddy cop movie. And only a few months ago, they turned something called "The Lego Movie" into one of the best films of the year so far.

22 Jump Street
One of our 10 Movies To See In June, and a comedy we hope delivers the same big, surprising laughs as its predecessor, we'll soon have a verdict with "22 Jump Street" screening for press today. But until then, here's a few new videos from the film as part of Sony's unrelenting marketing campaign.

22 Jump Street
This year's spring/summer comedies either seem to be hitting or missing. Earlier this month, Seth Rogen and Zac Efron scored big with "Neighbors," while this weekend's "A Million Ways To Die In The West" looks like a colossal disaster that commits the one cardinal sin of comedies that don't work: it's not funny. But don't worry, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are on their way.

22 Jump Street
Channing Tatum’s career will also be spoken of in terms of two periods, before 2012 and after. Not only did the year find Steven Soderbergh giving Tatum some much-needed prestige, clout and weight with “Magic Mike” but more importantly, the world saw how damn funny the beefcake actor could be in the surprise comedy hit “21 Jump Street.” The much-anticipated sequel, “22 Jump Street,” hits theaters next month and a new clip has arrived online to give you a taste of the laughs in store for you.

Bradley Cooper, Todd Phillips-Arms & the Dudes
After spending the better part of four years on (ever diminishing returns) of "The Hangover" series, and detouring to make a movie cut from the same cloth in "Due Date," Todd Phillips is changing gears. You may not remember, but way back in 2011, he optioned the rights to Guy Lawson's Rolling Stone article, "Arms And The Dudes." And now, it's going to be his next film.

22 Jump Street
It's been a pretty serious summer so far, without much in the way of laughs. Sure, "Neighbors" hit the top of the box office last week, but for me, it was more mildly amusing than gut-bustingly hilarious, but hopefully Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill bring the goods with "22 Jump Street."

22 Jump Street
This summer may have no shortage of superheroes, but the only two guys we want on our side when shit goes down are Jenko and Schmidt. They may not have mutant powers or a team of Avengers to help them out, but somehow, however incompetently, they manage to get the job done. And a new trailer for "22 Jump Street" is here to show you how.
