First Poster Arrives For 'The Three Musketeers;' Which Cast Member Is Humiliated The Most?

Currently in a tight neck-and-neck race with Roland Emmerich's "Anonymous" to be the stupidest movie of the fall, "The Three Musketeers," which sees "Resident Evil" director Paul W.S. Anderson cunningly reboot Alexandre Dumas' legendary characters for the 21st century by trying to make it look as much like "Resident Evil" as humanly possible, is looming on the release schedule. We've already seen one truly terrible trailer for the film, and now, with the film's October release date coming closer, Summit have released the first one-sheet for the film, via Yahoo.

Now here's an interesting project that is newly on our radar thanks to Cannes. Just last week, we learned that Michael Cera would join "The Maid" director Sebastian Silva for a thriller called "Magic Magic." Variety reported yesterday that three lovely ladies -- Juno Temple, Emily Browning and Catalina Sandino Moreno -- will be on hand to work with him. All we know about the film so far is that a girl vacationing with her friends in Chile slowly starts to lose her mind. It's not been made clear who will be taking the lead role, but judging from the billing and her rising star status, it's more than likely going to be Temple.

We like Juno Temple very much. She's shone in indies like "Cracks" and "Greenberg," and we're clearly not the only ones who've noticed -- the actress has been cast in a key role by Christopher Nolan in "The Dark Knight Rises." We also like Michael Angarano very much. The actor's been appealing in smaller roles from "Almost Famous" to "Snow Angels," and really staked his claim as a leading man earlier in the year in Max Winkler's firmly enjoyable comedy "Ceremony." So we're positively delighted to reveal that the pair are teaming up for a new independent comedy.

Jordan Scott Eyeing A 'Ghost Story' For Her Next FilmEXCLUSIVE: You would think that a feature film directed by the daughter of Ridley Scott and the niece of Tony Scott, starring Eva Green no less, would generate a fair amount of buzz. But, for whatever reason the movie gods have dictated, "Cracks" is only now rolling out in theaters via IFC; a long time since it premiered at TIFF way back in 2009. And that's really a shame. The film is being slept on by critics, the very same ones who usually beg and fawn for this kind of movie. Featuring an ensemble of complex female characters led by Green, the film easily conjures comparisons to "Picnic At Hanging Rock," "Heavenly Creatures" and "Lord Of The Flies." It's a crackling dark drama of the kind they just don't make very often.

The cast for "The Dark Knight Rises" continues to grow. Variety today confirmed that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is signed on for the superhero sequel, reuniting him with "Inception" director Christopher Nolan. Joining Gordon-Levitt in today's announcements is Juno Temple, the indie star of "Kaboom" and the upcoming "Cracks," who is said to be circling a role in the megablockbuster.

Juliette Lewis was only seen in a couple of poorly received films last year -- "The Switch" and "Conviction" -- but here's the thing: she was the best part about either film. As the hippy dippy friend in the former and the key white trash witness in the latter, Lewis was alive and engaging in a way the rest of the film around her wasn't (and yes, she did a brief cameo in "Due Date" as well). Moving into this year, the actress is lining up a couple more films that will hopefully fire on all cylinders.

So, yesterday, we ran down some of the names that keep cropping up on the endless wishlist stories that run at the moment -- the women who've been continually linked to the hot projects around town. Some of those actors we love, some we don't, but they're quantifiably the names that every director and executive wants to meet for their projects.

Lilly Collins, Aneurin Barnard & Adelaide Kane Also Vying For Parts In Singer's Modern Day Fairy TaleLooks like those reports that ran earlier this year saying Bryan Singer has been leveraging "Jack The Giant Killer" casting -- his upcoming new project for New Line -- as a way to also look out for "X-Men: First Class" actors -- the Matthew Vaughn-directed project he's producing and wrote the treatment for -- ran both ways.
