By this point, there isn't much left to reveal about Len Wiseman's "Total Recall." The trailers have made it clear it's going to be a pretty average sci-fi flick, granted, with some identity twisting traits, but nothing that has had us truly sitting up and taking notice. To recap, Colin Farrell is in the lead as Doug Quaid, a man who goes to get some false memories implanted in his brain but quickly becomes a target when he's mistaken as somebody else. Or is he? Reality and imagination blur as he tries to get to the bottom of what happened with Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy and more along for the ride.

What's it like to have your memory scrubbed? Well, if the marketing team behind "Total Recall" do their job right, then you will have forgotten about the 1990 film directed by Paul Verhoeven and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. And they've pumped out a few more images to help get that job done.

Memo to the Academy: Next year, you might want to get the writing staff of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to write jokes for the show, because this nine-minute bit is funnier than anything that happened at the Oscars last night.

Review: Oh, There's Michael...'Underworld: Awakening' Answers Questions You Never Cared Enough To Ask

“Where’s Michael?” shouts warrior vampire Selene (Kate Beckinsale) urgently in the trailer for “Underworld: Awakening,” the fourth film in the other vampire/werewolf franchise. “Who’s Michael?” muses a large portion of the audience, presumably a little less urgently, in reply. Because while the ‘Underworld’ films undoubtedly have their appeal -- you don’t goose your way beyond a trilogy without some kind of following making it financially enticing -- they really don’t inspire the kind of widespread fandom that might immediately make the average moviegoer clutch their heart in worry over the fate of Selene’s hybrid werevamp macguffin boyfriend.

Review: In 'Contraband' The Humans Aren't Nearly As Compelling As The Bullet Holes

Chris Farraday, the protagonist of “Contraband,” is a popular movie construct. Handsome, wide-shouldered, and with a movie-star smile, he’s tough enough to have done some Very Bad Things, but also principled enough to be retired by the time we meet him. Chris is an ex-drug smuggler, and the life doesn’t seem to have done much for him. Clad in form-fitting jeans and tee-shirts, he still hangs out at the same ratty bars with his low-life former criminal acquaintances. It’s a character as walking, talking movie shorthand: we know what he was, what he is, and, likely, what he’ll have to become again.

It seems that Tom Cruise can't stop making movies right now. He's got "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" and "Rock of Ages" in the bag, he's currently shooting "One Shot," and after that the suddenly busy actor will roll right into the "Tron: Legacy" director Joseph Kosinski's "Oblivion." The movie found one of its two female leads in Jessica Chastain late last month and now a trio of actresses is vying for the other part.

Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale & Bryan Cranston Talk Remaking A Wacko Sci-Fi ClassicAfter "30 Minutes or Less" at yesterday's Columbia panel at Comic-Con 2011, "Total Recall" stars Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, Bryan Cranston and director Len Wiseman took the stage to show footage and field questions from the audience. “We’re halfway through shooting so we don’t have enough to put together a trailer, but I know not seeing something is a big bummer. So it’s the first sequence we shot; it’s a scene, it’s very rough, and it’s cut together with a lot of pre-vis.” Although he was certainly correct that the footage was incomplete, it clearly echoed the early sequence from the 1990 film where Arnold Schwarzenegger, as Doug Quaid, visited Rekall in order to have a memory implanted, only to awaken to an entirely different reality.

Though "Breaking Dawn" has captured the hearts of teens and their moms, the brutal, blood-sucking, non-sparkly vampire remains immortal. After Thursday's "Twilight" lovefest, Comic-Con's Hall H was taken over by two vehicles for the meaner brand of the undead with "Fright Night" and "Underworld: Awakening" on Friday. "Fright Night" reimagines the '80s classic, this time casting Colin Farrell as the not-so-neighborly vamp Jerry and Anton Yelchin as the threatened boy next door. Meanwhile, "Underworld: Awakening" revives Kate Beckinsale's role in the franchise as her Selene comes out of a coma after more than a decade.

Kate Beckinsale & Jessica Biel ConfirmedBill Nighy loves to work but his quality meter is all over the place. For every "State Of Play" (the original Brit series) or "The Constant Gardener" there's a "G-Force" or "Underworld." Big or small, the actor will seemingly to do it all as long as there is a craft services table and a paycheck. Or if it's directed by Len Wiseman.
