My Old Lady
Mathias (Kevin Kline) is a failure. He's three times divorced, and not coincidentally, has written three unpublished novels. But the passing of his father —who has otherwise given away all his money to charity— has opened to the door to potential prosperity. Mathias' father has left him the keys to a beautiful Parisian apartment, but there's just one problem: the 90 year old Mathilde (Maggie Smith) has lived there for seventy years and has no plans to leave.

My Old Lady
Jumping from drama to comedy with ease, the sixty-six year old Kevin Kline means different things to different moviegoers. For some, he's the actor with pronounced dramatic chops in early films like "Sophie's Choice," "The Big Chill" and "Cry Freedom," while for others he's the comedic genius who won an Oscar for "A Fish Called Wanda," and was similarly terrific in films like "Dave," "In & Out" and more. His latest leading role in "My Old Lady" sees him touching upon both genres, with the movie premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend.

Handsome, dashing, popular ... movie legend Errol Flynn had the world in the palm of his hand during his heydey, but when the '40s rolled around, her personal life overcame his onscreen persona. A trial for statutory rape—from which he was acquitted after a very public trial—forever damaged his reputation. And the upcoming "The Last Of Robin Hood" documents the fall of one of Hollywood's greatest icons.

Paddington
It always seemed a bit like an odd fit when Colin Firth signed up to voice the beloved bear "Paddington," and it seems he finally realized too, dropping out of the project, which already has a November 28th release date and has released a couple of trailers. But at least as far as PR goes, everyone is totes cool with it.

The 10 Best Movie Idiots
Inspired in part by the Roman festival of Hilaria and the medieval Feast Of Fools, the first of the fourth month brings April Fool’s Day, a celebration of jokes, pranks and hoaxes around the world. It probably hasn’t escaped your attention, thanks to the prevalence of weak LOLs, thin hoaxes, and people complaining about the weak LOLs and thin hoaxes on social media.

With "The Hangover" boys having seemingly exploited every debauchery laden avenue Las Vegas has to offer and then some, another party-happy movie set in the city might seem like a tired notion. Particularly when it's combined with a premise as wheezy and obvious as this, getting four older men together for one last hurrah in the city where your sins remain secret. But somehow, "Last Vegas" is better than it has any right to be. Yes, it's uneven, more jokes miss than hit, and it winds up taking easy dramatic shortcuts from the more interesting avenues that the script presents, but it's thanks to the lead quartet that the comedy is as engaging at it is.

What happens when a bunch of old people discover Red Bull, hip hop and lithe young women? Well, we'll find out in the upcoming comedy "Last Vegas", which pits Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline and Morgan Freeman against Sin City. Frankly, we rather suppose we all lose in this one.

Perhaps speaking to the dearth of roles for older actors, or the need for a paycheck, this morning Michael Douglas was honored for his turn in "Behind The Candelabra" with an Emmy nomination. And now this afternoon comes the trailer for "Last Vegas," another movie set in the Nevada playground that finds him hamming it up alongside Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro and Kevin Kline in a premise that is basically "The Hangover-but-with-old-people."

Trailer placement is a very important thing. You get your promo in front of a film that has the same target audience, and turns out to be a big hit, and you're potentially laughing all the way to the bank. And that's why we've just seen a trailer for "Last Vegas" over at Yahoo -- "The Hangover Part III" is only a week away, and it's the perfect film to help sell CBS Films' aged bachelor party movie to a giant crowd.
