There's no doubt the "Bridesmaids" comparisons will be thrown around for this one, and certainly the success of that film likely helped this one get in front of cameras last summer, but there are some slight variations in "Bachelorette." While in Paul Feig's film the bachelorette party ultimately gets canceled, here it's the centerpiece of the entire movie. Moreover, "Bachelorette" looks like it could be substantially fun, and the cast is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

Yes, we're still playing a bit of catch-up with the deluge of geekery that landed over the past few days at Comic-Con, but we're nearly there. While Marvel got the most press for the unveiling of logos and titles, as well as the confirmation of Ben Kingsley as Mandarin in "Iron Man 3," the company also dropped a pretty decent helping of "Item 47," the upcoming One Shot short set to appear on the "The Avengers" DVD and Blu-ray this fall.

As if Marvel couldn't top 2012, which has seen them release the blockbuster "The Avengers," start filming "Iron Man 3," and flip the switch on "Guardians Of The Galaxy," they've gone ahead and added Lizzy Caplan to the their cinematic universe. Well done, Marvel, well done.

After losing Paul Bettany to his flighty scheduling before replacing him with the equally incredible Michael Sheen, there was little to be heard about Showtime's latest pilot, “The Masters of Sex,” which also starred Lizzy Caplan in a lead role. However, just as one was beginning to believe a “The Corrections”-esque denial had taken place, news comes today that the network has picked the hour-long show up for a full season run, in addition to another family drama with Liev Schreiber, “Ray Donovan.”

We weren't sure what to expect of "Frankie Go Boom," the sophomore directorial feature from director Jordan Roberts. There were the helmer's diverse previous credits, from directing ensemble dramedy "Around The Bend," which starred Christopher Walken, Michael Caine and Josh Lucas, to writing the narration for the hit documentary "March of the Penguins." Then there was the film itself: with cast members like Chris O'Dowd and Lizzy Caplan, it seemed like it could be a post-Apatow comedy, but then came that teaser poster, of Ron Perlman in a dress. What on Earth was this thing?

Is this going to be another case of Paul Bettany missing the boat? The actor famously passed on "The King's Speech" (to spend time with his family), and of course, the movie won a bunch of Oscars and became a box office hit. At the beginning of the year, Bettany exited from the developing Showtime series "Masters Of Sex"-- could this be another decision that will bite him in the ass?

With the countless number of romantic comedies focused on how difficult it is for a woman to find a good man, it’s incredibly refreshing to see one where the tables are turned. In “Save The Date,” Lizzy Caplan stars as Sarah, a struggling illustrator who keeps herself afloat by managing a local book store.

Sundance Review: 'Bachelorette' Is The Movie For Anyone Who Wished 'Bridesmaids' Was More Like 'The Hangover'

Produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's Gary Sanchez Productions, "Bachelorette" is the movie for all those people that wished "Bridesmaids" was more like "The Hangover." Three bridesmaids embark on a non-stop parade of debauchery fueled by coke, booze, and pills that make "The Hangover" dudes seem kind of like pussies. Kirsten Dunst plays Queen Bee Regan, leader of the "B-Faces" (short for "bitch faces"), a group of high school friends now in their early '30s scattered across the country in various stages of their lives. This crew includes promiscuous cokehead Gena (Lizzy Caplan), spacey retail worker Katie (Isla Fisher) and Becky ("Bridesmaids" scene stealer Rebel Wilson), a girl who was known as "Pig Face" in high school. Improbably, Becky becomes the first of the group to get engaged, to one of NYC's most wealthy men, and this confuses Regan -- who works with sick kids, keeps a perfect figure, and does everything she thinks she should to be the first one to walk down the aisle -- to no end. She tries (with all the muscles in her face) to remain supportive as she receives the news, but it's painfully clear she is not happy about it.
