Gravity
While pundits, critics, prognosticators and more have all weighed in on the Oscar season movies, leave it to Louis C.K. to be the most vociferously vocal about the movies he didn't like this year. And two in particular certainly raised the ire (and hilarity) of Louis C.K.

While the adventures of John Constantine failed to capture the popular imagination on the big screen in the 2005 movie starring Keanu Reeves, DC Comics is giving it another whirl on the small screen. Last fall, Warner Bros. TV entrusted David Goyer with producing the potential series along with Daniel Cerone (“The Mentalist”), and they must like what they've been seeing.

American Hustle Louis C.K.
There is no such thing as a small role, the old saying goes, and one of the many pleasures to be found in David O. Russell's awards season contender "American Hustle," is Louis C.K.'s turn as Stoddard Thorsen, the supervisor to Bradley Cooper's slowly unraveling FBI agent Richie DiMaso. Throughout the film, the two come head-to-head, bickering over the scope and reach of their operation, and their meetings are usually finished by Stoddard sharing a new portion of an ice fishing story which Richie keeps trying to guess the end of. In the movie, neither the audience nor Richie manage to hear the punchline, but it has finally been revealed.

Blue Jasmine Cate Blanchett Alec Baldwin
Woody Allen is a man of many movies (49, to be exact) and of many muses – Diane Keaton, Mia Farrow, Scarlett Johansson – but although Cate Blanchett is his latest leading lady, in "Blue Jasmine," which arrives Friday, it seems that for once in his life Woody has gotten himself inspired by a man; specifically, the very funny man that is Louis CK.

Louis C.K. Blue Jasmine Woody Allen
While his work ethic hasn't paused for a single moment, Woody Allen has lately been more content to work behind the camera rather than act in front of it. While he does have a role in John Turturro's upcoming "Fading Gigolo," the writer/director has been fairly selective about appearing in his own films, letting six years pass between "Scoop" and "To Rome With Love." But not that he hasn't thought about it, and it turns out one of his "Blue Jasmine" stars may be inspiring him to act again. And it's a pairing we'd certainly endorse.

Blue Jasmine Cate Blanchett
It’s really kind of remarkable how Woody Allen has been able to keep a “one film per year” pace for pretty much his entire career. While it seems Allen has recently been following a pattern of making one great film every 3-4 years, it’s just been two years since “Midnight In Paris” (his biggest hit to date), and the buzz so far for “Blue Jasmine” has been very encouraging. Two new clips for the film have landed online and, the first one provides a nice glimpse into the main aspect of the film that everyone’s been talking about: Cate Blanchett’s performance.

American Hustle Bradley Cooper Christian Bale
Okay, while we might prefer the original working title "American Bullshit," it probably would've created a marketing nightmare, so the official replacement? Yeah, it's not too shabby at all.

Last fall, to the sadness of fans everywhere, it was revealed that the hit show "Louie" would not be returning to the small screen until 2014. Louis C.K. -- who writes, directs, stars and edits each episode -- said, "I want season four to go somewhere new…I'm looking back to when I did the first season and the time I took to do the show and decide which directions to go in and I want that back again. I want a little breathing room." At the time it was said he was planning to start writing early in 2013, but he's got a gig coming up that will likely come first.
