Nicole Kidman doesn't do comedies very often (besides "Stoker" ZING!), but maybe she should, because she can be quite funny. Say what you will about the otherwise horrid "Just Go With It," but Kidman is pretty spot on beside a surprisingly hilarious Dave Matthews. Really. But all of this is just preamble, because it looks like the reach of Ron Burgundy knows no bounds.

"Bill Hader and I have a project together where we play twins, both incredibly depressed, and it’s actually really serious. It’s already written. It’s called 'The Skeleton Twins.' We’re just hoping that financing will come along soon, but it’s a great project," Anna Faris told Vulture this spring. How things change. Presumably, the comic actress is taking some time to spend with her new baby boy, but luckily for Hader the project is moving on and it now reteams him with an old friend.

Since leading the ill-fated Mike Judge-helmed “Idiocracy” in 2006, Luke Wilson hasn’t had a high-profile gig -- even something like “Middle Men” barely hit theaters -- but now the actor has snatched a role in the Black List-approved “A Many Splintered Thing.” First-time director Justin Reardon will helm the film, described as being in the same spirit of “Amelie” and “(500) Days Of Summer.” Wilson will appear alongside a talented ensemble that includes Anthony Mackie, Aubrey Plaza, Philip Baker Hall, Topher Grace and Giovanni Ribisi with Chris Evans and Michelle Monaghan as the leads in the the story of a man (Evans) who has given up on love, until he meets an engaged woman (Monaghan) at a charity dinner, by posing as a philanthropist. He pretends to be her platonic friend, all while trying to win her for himself, away from a man who doesn't like going on dates.

First, “True Blood” fans may feel a tinge of excitement when they read that Bon Temps, Louisiana resident Lafayette Reynolds may be stepping away to the screen for a moment. Beloved “True Blood” actor Nelsan Ellis will be lending his talent to “Precious” director Lee Daniels’ upcoming “The Butler,” which has recently been lining up an ensemble consisting of Liam Neeson, John Cusack, Forest Whitaker, Robin Williams, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jr., and frankly more actors than we have space for here. Ellis will take on the role of Martin Luther King Jr., which we assume will be no easy feat, but certainly a rewarding one if all goes according to plan. “The Butler” tells the true story of Eugene Allen, a White House butler (Whitaker) who served eight Presidents over the span of three decades and was witness to all kinds of history and famous people.

Luke Wilson, Zachary Quinto, Topher Grace, Johnny Galecki and Karyn Kusama...one of these people doesn't quite seem to belong (guess who?) but they are all banding together to make "Invitation."
