Well, with his latest "Blue Jasmine" coming to theaters later this month, it's time for Woody Allen to stick to his schedule, and start getting his team together for his next effort. As per tradition, Allen is prepping his annual outing to a movie set, and he's added a bunch of new actors.

Well, Zac Efron's first year questing for recognition in more adult roles was a bit of mixed bag. He is probably still best known at the end of 2012 for being peed on by Nicole Kidman in "The Paperboy," and his efforts in Ramin Bahrani's "At Any Price" seemed to be overlooked by those debating the merits of the earnest picture. But the former tween Disney star is pushing forward admirably, and like it or not, he's getting involved in a movie about one of the most defining and tragic moments in American history.

Angela Bassett is the latest to join "Olympus Has Fallen," Millenium Entertainment's rival to Sony's "White House Down." Set to be directed by Antoine Fuqua, the premise is pretty much the same: White House + terrorists/bad guys = hero saves the day. In this case, it's Gerard Butler with Aaron Eckhart along for the ride as POTUS. Basset will play Secret Service director Lynne Jacobs.

Independent animation distributor GKIDS has announced that an English language version of the Academy Award-nominated "A Cat in Paris," will be released on American shores (in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego) on June 1st. Among the vocal cast assembled for this new version are Angelica Huston, Marcia Gay Harden, Matthew Modine and Steve Blum. This is being seen as the beginning of a wider platform release.
