At this point in time, Christopher Nolan must have actors lining up around the block to work with him. For someone who works, these days, on the scale he's accustomed to, for all the spectacle he puts on screen, he also doesn't forget to draw out stunning performances from his actors, from Guy Pearce's indelible turn in "Memento" to Heath Ledger's Oscar-winning Joker in "The Dark Knight."

Well here we are. 48 hours or so to go until "The Dark Knight Rises." In fact, it rolls out in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and elsewhere tomorrow, so it comes even sooner if you're in that part of the world. The reviews are out, and they're mostly good, although as has been discussed at length already, good isn't apparently enough for the army of infants whose mental well-being depends on the film maintaining a Rotten Tomatoes score above 90%, and who treat Marvel and DC like Sunnis and Shi'ites not realizing that normal people don't care, and are capable of enjoying films from both companies, as well as, shock horror, some that aren't even based on comic books at all.

There are few directors as secretive as Christopher Nolan, so when a little nugget of info that drops seemingly be accident, it tends to get latched on to. And while Nolan hasn't said what he plans post-Batman -- he recently told "Nightline" he didn't have anything immediate (see below) -- it looks like his closest collaborators may have an inkling.

You hear that sound in the distance? That sinister rumbling that quickens the pulse and raises goosebumps? It's the Warner Bros. marketing department beginning to leg out the final stretch for the campaign for "The Dark Knight Rises," and after two TV spots last week, a third has now arrived, giving a glimpse of even more footage from the film. And that's not all -- the carefully planned/embargoed set visits and interviews from various outlets also landed online over the weekend with more bits and bobs spilling out.

While making the rounds for his Sundance drama "LUV," rapper/actor/chick magnet Common told Movieline (via Shadow & Act) that he's joined the cast of Louis Leterrier's awesome-sounding magician heist movie "Now You See Me." "I'm about to film this movie called 'Now You See Me,' which stars Jesse Eisenberg and Isla Fisher and Michael Caine and Mark Ruffalo - I'd say it's an action movie, about these magicians," Common told Movieline. "It's dope." Dope indeed!

It looks like Michael Caine is taking some time between helping out Batman in "The Dark Knight Rises" and hanging with magicians in "Now You See Me" to soak up some French culture.

It seems with each passing day, Louis Leterrier again raises the stakes on his high concept heist flick "Now You See Me." With a cast that already includes Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, Isla Fisher, Melanie Laurent, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco, it's now getting a dose of English class.

Once More Unto The Breach, Dear Friends... Shakespeare and science fiction aren't necessarily the most obvious mix, but as proven by the 50s classic "Forbidden Planet" (and to a lesser extent, Godard's post-apocalyptic "King Lear," which refers to the play more than it adapts it), it can work, and it sounds like someone else is making an attempt at giving a fantastical twist to a classic play.
