Yes, it's really happening. You may have forgot, but at the beginning of the year, it was announced that The Weinstein Company were pushing forward with a sequel to Ang Lee's smash hit "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," with plans to shoot this past May. And while that didn't exactly happen, that hasn't stopped the project which now has a new start date, and more importantly, a key cast member.

Megan Fox may no longer be part of the "Transformers" franchise, but her next big screen role will be in Jennifer Westfeldt's "Friends With Kids," an ensemble indie that stars Adam Scott, Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Chris O'Dowd and Edward Burns. Believe or not, Luc Besson, the hugely successful producer behind action fare like "The Transporter" franchise, "Taken," and the "District 13" films, and the director of "The Fifth Element" and "The Professional" is now directing a film about Burmese pro-democracy politician and Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi. Seriously. Shot last fall and due to hit theaters overseas later this year, we're now getting our first major look at "The Lady."

Ed Westwick Joins 'J. Edgar'Looks like some folks at William Morris Endeavor are going to need to be apologizing and sending Charlize Theron some flowers. Vulture reports the actress, who even Clint Eastwood believed would be joining his upcoming biopic "J. Edgar," wasn't as keen as everybody thought she was in joining the film and has backed away and set a big budget franchise in her sights.

Film Is Being Made Without Aung San Suu Kyi's PermissionAung San Suu Kyi has become an icon for democratic freedom. After spending fifteen years under house arrest in Burma after leading the National League for Democracy in an election victory of the ruling military junta in 1990, her struggle gained international attention and last month, she was finally released from house arrest. That's a pretty simple summary for a battle that over the years has mobilized student groups, human rights advocates and more as they leaned on Burma (and any corporations doing business with the nation) to do the right thing and recognize the injustice being perpetrated on Suu Kyi. So it's not a complete surprise that her story is being prepped for the big screen.
