Here is a rather shocking development that will truly upend the entire world as you know it: Paz De La Huerta is taking off her clothes in a movie. Of course, if you already live on planet Earth, you already know the former "Boardwalk Empire" actress has no problem strutting around in next to nothing or sometimes entirely nothing, and she certainly flaunts what she's got in "Nurse 3D."

While James McTeigue for a moment seemed like the next great blockbuster hopeful following "V For Vendetta," the diminishing returns of "Ninja Assassin" and "The Raven" have found him directing his leanest movie yet. Milla Jovovich, Pierce Brosnan, Emma Thompson and Angela Bassett will star in "Survivor," a thriller that'll shoot in January.

It's taken a while but "The State" veteran David Wain has cracked the mainstream. Having made his directorial debut a decade ago with the cult classic "Wet Hot American Summer," Wain took a while to get anything going again, but came roaring back with two films in two years, anthology "The Ten" and Paul Rudd/Seann William Scott-starrer "Role Models," the latter of which became something of a sleeper hit.
