Not to dick around, but we've got nudity on the boob right now. Mind. On the mind. Thing is, with an intriguing article over at EW exploring the death of the movie sex scene and the rise of the New Prudishness, with waves made over Kristen Stewart's nudity and handjobs in "On the Road," and now with this week's "Trance" under fire from some quarters for Rosario Dawson's (some say plot-driven, others say gratuitous) birthday suit scene, we've been thinking about nakedness in film almost as much as Seth McFarlane was when he wrote his already-infamous Oscars opening song, though largely without, we hope, the sniggering misogyny.

Speculation continues to grow regarding the upcoming Freddie Mercury biopic that Sacha Baron Cohen has been attached to for quite some time. The film, which will follow Queen from their early years to their Live Aid performance in 1985, is set up over at Sony and GK Films and development has been slow to say the least. Though Stephen Frears was thought to be close to helming the project at one point, it looks like the movie could wind up in someone else’s hands instead.

Most actors would kill to have the kind of "Sophie's Choice" decision Sacha Baron Cohen was faced with about a year ago. Way back in the fall of 2011, it was reported that the comic actor had boarded Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained." But six months later, the actor had dropped out (one of a handful who came and went -- like Kevin Costner, Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Anthony LaPaglia -- as the film's production grew longer and longer). So, what gives? Well, it looks like a meatier role coupled with a tight deadline forced him out.

We gotta ask...what's going with Éponine? As Universal continues going hard on the marketing campaign for "Les Miserables," Samantha Barks seems conspicuously absent from much of it. Secret weapon or stumbling block? Here's hoping for the former, but unfortunately, she isn't in this latest batch of promo images for the movie, snapped by the legendary Annie Leibovtiz for Vogue.

One of the more immediate recognitions of perfect casting in recent years, the news of Sacha Baron Cohen tackling the role of Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury, has excited fans of both talents since the biopic was announced in 2010. Development has stuttered in the interim though, even as the film's producers reinforced the film's active status, but after a confirmation this past summer -- in the form of director Stephen Frears growing close to helming the project -- a new tidbit from Queen guitarist Brian May himself has reignited the discussion even further.

Despite fans camping out at 7 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. Hall H presentation for Quentin Tarantino's upcoming slavery-drama-cum-revenge-thriller "Django Unchained," the lines for the panel were unprecedented and several thousand fans who thought they were early, were left out of luck.
