Perhaps a recap of the journey we've been on with "Gravity" is in order. Hell, just getting a cast in order is a story itself with Robert Downey Jr. and Angelina Jolie attached at various points, and after the latter left, a frantic search geared up to find a replacement for take the lead with Naomi Watts, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Marion Cotillard, Carey Mulligan, Sienna Miller, Abbie Cornish, Rebecca Hall, Olivia Wilde and Blake Lively all being rumored/considered/wishlisted before Sandra Bullock signed on, followed shortly by George Clooney.
