Jessica Chastain may seem like she can do it all, but there's one project it looks like she just can't squeeze in. Attached as recently as this spring to "The Secret Scripture," Cineuropa now reports that Rooney Mara is the young female lead opposite Vanessa Redgrave in the film.

Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy
Ten years ago today, Will Ferrell presented the world with what is still one of his greatest creations, "Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy." As you already know from still quoting the movie a decade later, it became a cult hit, and spawned a sequel that was not as good (have you ever quoted anything from "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues"?). But the original remains untouchable, and so it's time to blow out the birthday candles.

Foxcatcher
"Director Bennett Miller...has outdone himself, turning his uniquely meticulous eye to a tiny story in a totally rarefied, specific environment and through whatever alchemy he has perfected, created something so universal and resonant that it feels epic, sprawling, almost ancient in its mythic overtones. 'Foxcatcher' is an enormous film," Jessica Kiang wrote in the opening paragraph of her review from the Cannes Film Festival. To say that she loved the film would be an understatement, and certainly the rest of us here are eagerly anticipating the film, that is undoubtedly going to be in the Oscar conversation this fall.

Meryl Streep Maria Callas
While Hollywood has tried for years to mount a Maria Callas biopic (we haven't heard much about Niki Caro's developing movie for a while now), it's not like it hasn't been done. Over a decade ago, Fanny Ardant toplined Franco Zeffirelli's "Callas Forever," and now Meryl Streep — who will be showing off her pipes later this year in "Into The Woods" — is giving it a go.

Foxcatcher
Originally slated to be released last fall, Sony Pictures Classics yanked "Foxcatcher" from the schedule soon after the trailer dropped online, citing Bennett Miller's need for more time to finish the film. Well, it's in the can and playing Cannes (sorry), set to premiere in Competition next week. So what was the hold up? A lengthy post-production process.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Looks like somebody has a case of the Mondays. The cherished children's book "Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst is headed to the big screen, and it looks like it will live up to the title in more ways than one.

It probably hasn’t escaped your attention, thanks to the prevalence of weak LOLs, thin hoaxes, and people complaining about the weak LOLs and thin hoaxes on social media.

After going back to his silly comedic roots, reprising Brick Tamland in "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues," Steve Carell is continuing down the dramatic road he's quietly been carving for himself, by lining up to produce and star in "Priority List." Based on the memoir by David Menasche, it tells the story of a teacher diagnosed with brain cancer and given a few months to live, who goes on to defy the odds.

Anchorman 2
If you thought the long awaited follow-up to “Anchorman” played it too close to the chest, then the upcoming “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues The Unrated Cut” might be for you. The sequel felt too long and heavily relied on jokes from the original. But by the looks of these clips, a lot of original humor didn’t make it past the editing room.
