It's a good morning to be a Los Angeles pharmacist, as, Hollywood is just this moment waking up with their worst hangover of the year. Yep, it's the morning after the Golden Globes, and what the Hollywood Foreign Press Association lacks in respect or prestige, it makes up for in free-flowing booze and raucous partying. And so long as you don't take it too seriously, it can make for pretty entertaining viewing, something proven last night.

Earlier: The oft-repeated maxim is that the Golden Globes do not matter. They do not. However, if you take the polar opposites of the season of critic awards (high-brow, cerebral) and the Globes (extremely populist), you can often (when also considering more significant Guild awards, of course) split the difference and land where the Academy Awards ultimately will.

Late last year word arrived that none other than Ricky Gervais landed the lead role in the “The Muppets 2” with “Modern Family” star Ty Burrell taking over for Christoph Waltz in one of the other two major parts. At the time it was rumored that the film was “a Euro-caper,” and now THR is reporting that Tina Fey has snagged the female lead role opposite fellow Golden Globe host Gervais.

To be sure, applying to college is a frenzy of emotions for high school graduates each year, but we can't remember when it was depicted as being this....wacky....as it is in the trailer for "Admission." The film, directed by Paul Weitz ("Being Flynn," "About A Boy"), is a dramedy promising both laughs and perhaps tears, in a movie we're not quite ready to buy a ticket for just yet.

"30 Rock" is ending, which means Tina Fey will be taking a swing at feature films. So far she's had mixed results with "Baby Mama" in the miss column, and "Date Night" in the hit column. As for "Admission"? Well, let's take a gander shall we?

If the Oscars are the grown ups table, then the Golden Globes have usually been the looser, more gravy-stained kids table of the awards season and in 2013, two very funny women and friends will combine forces to hand out a bunch of awards.

You know, we were just wondering when we might get another installment of Zach Galifianakis' hilariously awkward, Funny Or Die talk show "Between Two Ferns" and it looks like he's gonna make up for some lost time.

New trend? It wasn't that long ago that Tina Fey's "Date Night" director Shawn Levy announced he was going to spend this summer making "The Internship" with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. And now another movie about low-level, underappreciated grunt work.

As yet, Tina Fey hasn't quite found the same rock-solid success in the cinema world as she has on television with her Emmy-laden work on "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock." She wrote and co-starred in a minor teen classic "Mean Girls," and made small waves with "Baby Mama" and "Date Night," but that indelible role that makes her a fully fledged movie star -- her "Elf," her "40 Year Old Virgin" -- is yet to appear, presumably because she's busy nine months of the year running and starring in one of the funniest shows on television.

Predictable has never been an adjective you could use to describe Paul Weitz. After cutting his teeth on the sex comedy "American Pie," the helmer explored different genre paths, tackling dramedy ("About A Boy," "In Good Company"), satire ("American Dreamz") and fantasy ("Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant"). And this spring, he'll deliver what is arguably his most dramatic film yet in "Being Flynn," starring Paul Dano and Robert De Niro. We recently got a chance to chat with Weitz, and as usual, the projects on his upcoming slate are as diverse as they come.
