In case you missed it, this morning there were even more new pics, a clip and even a parody trailer. It looks like our punishment for wanting this deluge of marketing to end is something even more severe.

The sand in the hour glass continues to grow smaller and smaller as by this time next Friday, fans will have already stumbled out, bleary eyed from the Batman trilogy marathon at theaters around the country. But as is the case with "The Dark Knight Rises," until then, we only know as much as Warner Bros. and the secretive Christopher Nolan wants to tell us about what's in store for Bruce Wayne in his final outing. So until next week, these images will have to suffice.

Well, this is a curious bit of marketing from The Weinstein Company for John Hillcoat's "Lawless." Although, considering the wonky campaign for "The Road," this is becoming par for the course for Hillcoat's films.

Minor news out of Namibia today which may upset some slightly, but all in all, it shouldn't be much of a concern. George Miller's long-gestating "Mad Max: Fury Road," which had been in the works for a few years now, but was delayed for almost 24 months due to innapropriate weather conditions (Australian deserts that were too lush and green instead of barren), won't be shooting in 3D as originally planned.

Bootlegging was a dirty, dangerous business and John Hillcoat's upcoming "Lawless" certainly doesn't shy away from the less glamorous aspects of the gig, and it certainly helps to tell the story when you've got an ace cast at your disposal.

It's only been 24 hours since our last bit of info on "The Dark Knight Rises" so don't worry, the movie hasn't been canceled or push back. Phew. Kidding aside, the clock is winding down on the film with just over a month to go before we see Christopher Nolan's epic conclusion to the series -- and at 2 hours and 45 minutes long, he's not kidding.

As Charles Bronson for Nicolas Winding Refn, Bane for Chris Nolan, a Bondurant brother for John Hillcoat and an MMA fighter for Gavin O'Connor, if there's one thing that defines most of Tom Hardy's roles in his meteoric rise, it's pure masculinity. That doesn't look to be changing any time soon as he gears up to star George Miller's "Fury Road," but color us surprised as hell to hear that the actor's now set to team with playwright Brett C. Leonard for upcoming stage musical, "Harold's Harem."

You hear that sound in the distance? That sinister rumbling that quickens the pulse and raises goosebumps? It's the Warner Bros. marketing department beginning to leg out the final stretch for the campaign for "The Dark Knight Rises," and after two TV spots last week, a third has now arrived, giving a glimpse of even more footage from the film. And that's not all -- the carefully planned/embargoed set visits and interviews from various outlets also landed online over the weekend with more bits and bobs spilling out.

Sick of "The Dark Knight Rises" and its relatively secret campaign? At least compared to say, Fox's "Prometheus," which seemingly has revealed every secret it has? (Probably not, but it sure feels that way). Well, you shouldn't be. Trust In Nolan (someone should make a T-shirt of that and give me some props).
