In development and delayed for years -- first with Mel Gibson for a planned shoot in the early aughts that was delayed due to the Iraq war and then in 2011 with Tom Hardy with production pushed back due to weather conditions -- the fourth installment to the 'Mad Max' franchise will finally be fronting cameras this month in Namibia.

The third in this triumvirate is relative newcomer Jason Clarke, an Australian actor who's on the rise with upcoming roles in Kathryn Bigelow's "Zero Dark Thirty," and Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby."

Yesterday, we got an eyefull with the "sensual" promo art highlighting Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, but today brings us some brand new looks at the actual movie, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly (scanned by Batman News), in what is likely the kick off to the last leg of the marketing campaign for "The Dark Knight Rises."

As we're sure you've heard around the interwebs in the past few days, "The Dark Knight Rises" finally received its official PG-13 rating. That's hardly a surprise. What some nerds tuned into (and were turned on by) was the MPAA's caution that the film contained "intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language." Sensuality!? Bat-boner! And well, maybe now we know why.

The story of rugby player Gareth Thomas is a fascinating one. The Welsh rugby legend represented his country on 100 occasions, scoring 40 tries and becoming one of the greatest to ever play the game. He had a brief swansong representing Welsh club side Celtic Crusaders, before making a foray into reality television with an appearance on "Celebrity Big Brother" earlier this year. But the remarkable part of the story is that in 2009, after finalizing his divorce from his childhood sweetheart, Thomas announced publicly that he was gay. That made him the first openly gay rugby player, and easily the most high-profile gay athlete in Britain.

Just days after we revealed that John Hillcoat's upcoming prohibition drama "The Wettest County" had changed its name to "Lawless" (with Terrence Malick's blessing no less), Entertainment Weekly has given us what is essentially the first official look at the film (everything seen thus far has been set photos, albeit really good ones in some cases).

While "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" didn't bring home any Oscar gold in February, Tomas Alfredson's expertly calibrated spy thriller proved that the genre can deliver just as much thrills with dialogue, obversation and a deeply intelligent approach, than movies packed with gadgets, martinis, babes and tuxedos. The picture finally earned Gary Oldman his long overdue first Oscar nomination, and brought together an ensemble of Britain's finest acting talents the likes of which we may not ever see again.

You know how we just did that piece about how studios are looking to tighten their budgets and deliver cheapie movies that pay off big? Don't let the currently hot found-footage genre mislead you -- both audiences and moviemakers still want big stars, and a trio of actors have been tapped in the last week or so as talent that studios are hoping will bring them big dividends.

If Osama Bin Laden weren't already dead, we might fear for his safety purely based on the strength of the cast Kathryn Bigelow is assembling for her (still untitled) "Kill Bin Laden" flick. Oscar winner Mark Boal ("The Hurt Locker") wrote the script and Joel Edgerton and Jessica Chastain will head a cast that also includes Mark Strong (as a good guy this time...surely?), Jason Clarke, Edgar Ramirez, Kyle Chandler and Chris Pratt. And now the production has added two more to bolster that cast.
