While Oliver Stone has been fumbling with last few films, treading water with stuff like "World Trade Center," "W," and "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" he's putting together what is sounding like his most exciting project in years and he's assembling a killer cast to tell the tale.

Young Filmmaker Talks About Making His First Feature, And Being Comfortable With His Influences And Own SkinWhile "Ceremony" is likely to be the introduction for most to the work of Max Winkler, many have been tipped off to his talent after seeing him work with Michael Cera and Clark Duke in the appropriate titled (and very funny) webseries, "Clark & Michael," which you can check out here. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Winkler has been making his name on a number of brewing projects including "The Adventurer's Handbook" which he co-wrote with pal Jonah Hill and frequent collaborator Matt Spicer, not to mention being drafted with the latter to write "Whispers in Bedlam" for Jason Reitman and scoring the selling the pitch for "First Man" that has Johnny Knoxville attached. Suffice it to say the 27-year-old son of Henry Winkler has all the makings of a filmmaker that should be squarely on your radar.

Next 'Kill Bill' Film Is "Down The Road"For a director known for his lengthy dialogue, Quentin Tarantino sure has been keeping quiet recently. Though he's currently writing the screenplay for what will become the directors 8th film (or 7th, if you count the "Kill Bill" series as one, as originally intended), details have so far been hard to come by. The first murmur of news came about a month ago when Italian actor Franco Nero said Tarantino was involved with a spaghetti western called "The Angel, The Bad And The Wise" but was revealed shortly thereafter this was probably not a directorial project for him. AICN's sources confirmed that Tarantino's next film would be a spaghetti western, Christoph Waltz would be starring and the title Nero mentioned was not even close. Speculation then turned to the slavery-era Texas Western he had talked up during the "Inglourious Basterds" press rounds.

A trailer has arrived for Max Winkler's feature debut "Ceremony" and it actually does a pretty solid job of conveying the overall tone of his debut film. Starring Michael Angarano and Uma Thurman, the film tells the story of Sam (Angarano), a young brazen adult who stalks his penpal and ex-girlfriend Zoe (Thurman) all the way to her wedding in the Hamptons to try and win her back.

How do you shake off the grime from starring in the tween girl franchise sensation "Eclipse"? If you're Robert Pattinson, you go and star in a period drama based on a book by Guy de Maupassant.
