Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy
Ten years ago today, Will Ferrell presented the world with what is still one of his greatest creations, "Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy." As you already know from still quoting the movie a decade later, it became a cult hit, and spawned a sequel that was not as good (have you ever quoted anything from "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues"?). But the original remains untouchable, and so it's time to blow out the birthday candles.

Even though they lost, the United States soccer team is moving up to the next round at the World Cup, and Will Ferrell didn't even have to bite anyone. So now he can get back to the business of making movies, and the always-busy actor has yet another project brewing.

Kicking And Screaming Will Ferrell
With the kickoff set to happen at lunchtime on the east coast, and just when people are getting into the office on the west coast, if productivity is down today, that's because everyone will be watching the crucial United States vs. Germany World Cup match today. The Other Guys
Last year, you might remember that Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn were kicking around "Daddy's Home" as a potential reunion vehicle, and while seeing them again together on the big screen in leading roles would've been nice. But this new plan is one we can roll with.

On paper, teaming up Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis seems like a no-brainer that would result in awesome hilarity. In practice, we got the thoroughly underwhelming "The Campaign," a low point for both comic actors, but they're going to give it another go on something that sounds a lot more promising.

The Flintstones
Yabbadabawhatthef*ck?? Because Will Ferrell had such a successful time adapting “Land Of the Lost,” he’s now teaming up with buddy Adam McKay to (exec) produce a new live-action version of “The Flintstones.”

We may live in the age of the international franchise, where American films open abroad weeks before domestic release to run up box office grosses, but there are still a few stars that are able to scare up some funding from studios, pre-existing material be damned. In fact, this morning sees news of two such stars bringing movies to life simply by virute of their name, though they’ll be dealing in opposite ends of the tonal spectrum.

Step Brothers
While "Step Brothers 2" seems less and less likely as time goes on, the good news is six years after their last full blown team-up, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and Adam McKay are getting ready to reunite and hopefully make us laugh. Really, really hard.

It looks Danny Boyle has some unlikely competition. In February, reports surfaced that the director was working with screenwriter John Hodge on a film about infamous 1973 "Battles Of The Sexes" tennis match that pitted Billie Jean King against the somewhat sexist braggard, and emerging from retirement, Bobby Riggs. Their showdown made headlines back then, and in the past couple years, with suggestions that Riggs threw the match to pay off debts. Either way it's a helluva tale.

Anchorman 2
If you thought the long awaited follow-up to “Anchorman” played it too close to the chest, then the upcoming “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues The Unrated Cut” might be for you. The sequel felt too long and heavily relied on jokes from the original. But by the looks of these clips, a lot of original humor didn’t make it past the editing room.
