While most of the film community’s attention is turned towards the recent news that Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are assembling the News Channel 4 team all over again for an “Anchorman” sequel, on a quieter front it comes as no surprise that both have several films in various stages of development over at their banner Gary Sanchez Productions. One of those is a reteaming of “The Other Guys” co-stars Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in the previously titled “Turkey Bowl,” but now that film is receiving a whole new take from the men who took us on a trip with their “Hot Tub Time Machine.”

I'M IN A GLASS CAGE OF EMOTION! We thought it was dead, we thought it would never happen and were content to watch our well worn DVDs until the laser in our players burned right through the disc. But impossibly, improbably, Paramount has seen the light shining from a whale's vagina, and has put "Anchorman 2" back in motion.

College life is no stranger to Will Ferrell. The funnyman relived his student life streaking through the quad in "Old School" but in this next picture, he won't be the one doing beer bongs.

Entertainment Weekly hasn't put it online yet, but the magazine has the first official photo of Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis in the political satire "The Campaign." Directed by Jay Roach ("Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery," "Meet The Parents") and formerly known as "Dogfight," the comedy centers on two rival North Carolina politicians with presidential aspirations who tangle with one another.

SXSW kicks off today, and the sunny, BBQ roasted city of Austin is probably the perfect place for "Casa De Mi Padre" to making its premiere. The odd ball comedy stars Will Ferrell, Diego Luna, Gael Garcia Bernal, Nick Offerman and Genesis Rodriguez in a riff on Mexican telenovelas, that tells the story of rancher who falls in love with his brother's fiancé and winds up in a war with a drug lord. In other words, it's exactly what you might expect from Will Ferrell except here's the thing -- it's all in Spanish.

We know you must have been tearing your hair out about this for months -- which movie would you choose to see first on the weekend of April 13th. Would you go with Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon's intriguing "The Cabin in the Woods," the eagerly anticipated (by Razzies voters) "The Three Stooges," or Sly Stallone's latest steroid-fest "Bullet To The Head"? Well, Warner Bros have decided to make it slightly easier for us as they've delivered a bullet to the head of Stallone's film, temporarily at least, by pulling it from the schedule.

When Will Ferrell goes the dramedy route, wives have not always done him well. In last year's "Everything Must Go," an impending divorce found his character fully embracing his alcoholism while in Woody Allen's "Melinda & Melinda" (an underrated movie and performance) a new downstairs neighbor becomes a temptation. Well once again, a woman will cause Ferrell to do something quirky in his latest detour from balls out comedy, "The Flamingo Thief."
