After working with Nicolas Winding Refn, Ridley Scott, Zack Snyder, Steven Soderbergh and hell, even Madonna, you would think that plenty of doors are already open for Oscar Isaac. Well, we're sure teaming with the Coen Brothers for "Inside Llewyn Davis" (and knocking it out of the park) kicked down a few more.

So, Todd Phillips' final chapter in the Wolfpack saga, "The Hangover Part 3," arrived this summer, providing audiences with a mirthless, joyless, unfunny and tired finale to a comedy franchise that probably should've just stayed as one movie. But could it have been better? Or at least funnier? Well, here's your chance to find out...

Is there any doubt that Arcade Fire can pretty much do whatever they want at the moment? The Montreal-based band has become nothing short of a phenomenon, with an ambition and reach far beyond that of their peers. So when it was revealed that they would follow their appearance on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend with a half hour concert, it was just another example of the far reaching vision for their music. And it went down last night, and if you missed it, here's your morning brew.

There's probably mixed feelings going around about the conclusion this Thursday, when the third film opens, of "The Hangover" trilogy. For some, the films have been among the most seminal comedies of their generation, making Bradley Cooper an A-lister, and introducing the world at large to the talents of Zach Galafianakis. For others, they've been increasingly lazy, misogynistic, fratty films the popularity of which will never quite be explained.

While David Bowie's new music video represents the very heights of the format, with ambitious visuals, important themes and high production values, then the latest from The Lonely Island is the counterweight to that. Goofy, hilarious, and probably shot in about two days, it might not boast the biggest ideas or highest aspirations, but it's still pretty rad.

Hangover III
Phil, Alan and Stu. We partied with them in Las Vegas, got wasted with them in Thailand, and now it's all coming back home with "The Hangover Part III," a movie in which they want to burn the gambling mecca where they started their journey to the ground. The first trailer set up the pins -- will this one knock 'em down?

" 'The Hangover Part III' is Alan's story," director Todd Phillips said late last year about the plot of the third installment of the 'Hangover' franchise. "He's going through a crisis after the death of his father, [and] the Wolf Pack is all he has." And after surviving Las Vegas and Thailand together, who better to have your back? Well the new trailer for the "fitting end to this three-part opera of mayhem and bad decisions" has arrived to strap in.

Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, and Zach Galifianakis will star in Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu’s BIRDMAN.
Generally known for his tough, harrowing dramas like “Amores Perros,” “21 Grams,” “Babel” and “Biutiful,” we've been waiting patiently to see what Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu would be doing next. His options of late have included the con man/criminal drama "Flim-Flam Man" and the period vengeance tale "The Revenant," but it looks like his next feature will find him changing gears in and taking something a lot more lighthearted.

So, "The Hangover Part III" is coming in about three months....where's the trailer? Or the poster? Or even one of those teaser trailers with no actual footage? Given the movie only started shooting last September, we figure Todd Phillips and co. are racing to the finish line, and the studio must be confident that audiences would probably walk up and buy tickets to this sight unseen. But until we get some kind of glimpse at the movie, here are a couple more stills.

While the Academy would never let Zach Galifianakis host the Oscars as the alter-ego from his talk show "Between Two Ferns," we'd be for it. Both clueless and insulting, and usually pretty damn funny, he's nicely taken some of the stuffing out the awards season campaign. In case you missed it, yesterday he sat down with nominees Jennifer Lawrence, Christoph Waltz, Naomi Watts, Amy Adams and Anne Hathaway in a segment both amusing and strange, and now part two has dropped.
