So, remember those rumors a week or so back that had Adam Driver in the running to play Nightwing in "Batman Vs. Superman"? Well, it's the first he's heard of it. While the chatter machine on the super sequel is cranked, when it comes to casting, it seems nobody really knows anything at this point though there seems to be a lot of names floating around on wishlists. And we'll get to that in a second, but first, here's what Driver had to tell Collider about the possibility of playing Dick Grayson.

"No. Not that I know of, no. If you find out, let me know, then I'll know," the actor said his possible superhero role, though he's humbled by the mention. "That's like intensely flattering as you can imagine. I mean, it's 'Batman and Superman,' who doesn't want to be involved in something not only of that scale but of who those characters are. That's an incredible world to be able to be in for a bit. Like who wouldn't want to do that?"

So, what is Driver doing next? Well, Deadline reveals he's just signed on to "Hungry Hearts," where he'll play opposite Alba Rohrwacher in the story of "a couple who meet by chance in New York City and develop the perfect love story – marriage, children – only to find their happiness in jeopardy and in a struggle for life or death." Saverio Costanzo ("In Treatment," "The Solitude Of Prime Numbers") will direct.

But back to "Batman Vs. Superman," as a few more names have floated in relation to the super sequel. Latino Review tweeted that Gal Gadot is the frontrunner for the female lead that has Olga Kurylenko and Elodie Yung testing, while Jackie Earle Haley apparently auditioned for a part, but WB passed on him (as for the role, feel free to speculate). Meanwhile, former Bruce Wayne, Christian Bale, has some thoughts and feedback for his Ben Affleck as he puts on the cape and cowl.

"I wish him all the best. He's a very experienced actor and filmmaker and he'll make it his own. Our thing's finished, we've always declared it was finished and it should be passed on to another actor and it will be again after him," he told Access Hollywood. "The only thing I said to him is just make sure he can take a piss without anyone having to help him. Because it's a little bit humiliating, at least what I went through, when you have to have someone help you out of the costume. That was my main piece of advice for him."

And oh yeah, Bale was also touched on (and was touched by) the whole San Francisco Bat Kid thing that went down last week (if you have no idea what we're talking about, click here and prepare to be punched in the emotion box) and had this to say about it all. "I just think it's great. It's a great day for the little guy. I just think Make-A-Wish and San Francisco did such an amazing thing to organize that. You just think of the delight in that little fella's heart, running around doing that," he said. "Then also as someone who has played Batman, it's great to see that the symbol of Batman is so much bigger than any one person, than any film, than any comic book, any TV series, that's really what it's all about. It's irrelevant which actor is playing it, we're irrelevant in that sense. But for little Miles to have such a great day is just delightful."

So there you go, all your Bat-news for now until the next inevitable stirrings of rumors and speculation.
