While turning 40 in Judd Apatow's latest might not be pretty, the writer/director/producer knows that of the many things that mark mid-life, music is a big one. And perhaps more than any other of his films to date, "This Is 40" is stacked with music. The official soundtrack boasts 17 songs, including new tunes from Norah Jones, Fiona Apple, Graham Parker, and Lindsey Buckingham. The movie itself features even more, including a handful of unlikely surprises.

For example, pieces from Michael Giancchino's score for "Lost" are featured, along with "Fantine's Death (Come To Me)" from the original Broadway cast recording from "Les Miserables" (is this some kind of super sly Universal cross promotion?). Meanwhile, the '90s are represented with tunes from Stone Temple Pilots, The Pixies, Alice In Chains and Sublime, there are roof raising jams from Missy Elliott and David Guetta, while The Band, Paul Simon and Chicago should ease the ears of the older set.

Check out the whole thing below, and on page two, we've got samples of all tracks. "This Is 40" hits theaters on December 21st.
