While he's gone from a stoner coming-of-age tale to a cancer comedy to this weekend's zombie rom-com "Warm Bodies," one thing that has marked the the films of Jonathan Levine have been a keen ear on the soundtrack. And that's not different with this latest effort, which serves up a pretty solid selection of tracks to go with the undead.

Used to highlight both comedic and character moments, the songs in the movie range from John Waite's "Missing You" (used as a bit of a running gag), Guns 'N Roses "Patience" and Scorpions "Rock You Like A Hurricane" for the lighter moments, while serious brooders like Bon Iver, Bob Dylan, The National and Bruce Springsteen perfectly cue up the more emotional beats. Meanwhile, M83 and Delta Spirit keeps things from getting too heavy.

There's no official soundtrack release, so you can use the below to make your own mixtape. "Warm Bodies" opens in February 1st and you can read our review right here.

The Guns 'N Roses song is Don't Cry not Patience.

  • samash | January 4, 2014 4:48 AM

No, the song is Patience. For one thing "Don't Cry" does not start out with whistling. And the second thing is, you can't clearly hear it saying "just a little patience". What's wrong with you, obviously you don't listen to a lot of Guns N' Roses, and Axl.

    it's patience baby!

I would love to know what song plays at the very end of the movie that does not have singing in it

The list says that the last song in the end credits is by Symphony Orchestra INSO Lemberg and the name is -- Concerto in A Minor for Flute, Oboe, Strings

Thank you so much for compiling this list of songs from the film, especially since there is no official soundtrack being released. I rather enjoyed the movie a lot and one of the main reasons was because of the killer soundtrack - so this was a wonderful resource to sample the songs first that I could choose to download. I love when y'all post articles about movie soundtracks!
