Batman & Bane Battle In 5 New Pics From 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Oh, was Christian Bale giving you blue steel in his Batman gear on the cover of EW's 2012 preview issue not enough for you? Well, screw in your eyeballs because there are a few more glimpses behind the curtain of "The Dark Knight Rises" to sate your appetite. For now.

EW has dropped three more images from the movie, with /Film adding two more from the magazine that haven't made it to the web yet, and if anything, they continue Christopher Nolan's desire to keep as much under lock and key as possible. For a movie that boasts a cast that includes Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Juno Temple in somewhat vague and mysterious roles, there is still much, much more to uncover. Though our guess is that we'll be making a lot of those discoveries this summer when we finally see the film.

Either way, it's hard to complain when the filmmakers dropped a prologue last month in front of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," which -- lost in all the chatter about Bane's speech -- was actually pretty damn exciting. And how great was Aiden Gillen?

Anyway, ruminate on these images for now. "The Dark Knight Rises" flaps its wings on July 20th in IMAX, though if you didn't buy your opening night tickets yet, you might be shit out of luck.
