We're now less than 24 hours away before the Cannes Film Festival kicks off and while we all know what the big ticket pics will be, there are plenty more films just waiting to be discovered.
One of those films is Michel Hazanavicius' “The Artist” starring Jean Dujardin, Berenice Bejo, John Goodman, Missi Pyle, James Cromwell and Penelope Ann Miller. Added to the line up less than a week ago, this silent film -- no you didn't read that wrong -- will cleverly tell the tale of George Valentin, a silent movie star whose career seems at an end with the arrival of the talkies, while a beautiful young extra sees the new format as opportunity to make her name. We love the premise and as the pics below attest, this looks gorgeously shot.
