10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesWe'll see if he can break the mold he's been put into with a role in Woody Allen's upcoming untitled movie. Emerson joins another strong ensemble being put together by the director that includes Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett, Bobby Cannavale, Bradley Cooper and Sally Hawkins. What is it about? Who knows. Plot details are under wraps as they always are, but the film does mark Allen's return to the United States with shooting to take place in San Francisco and New York City.
So, will the director use Emerson's ability to be a total creep to his advantage, or will the actor show off an Allen impression we never knew he had in him? Only time will tell. Filming takes place this summer, after which Emerson will return to "Person Of Interest" on CBS. [Deadline]
