If things seems a bit quiet, at least for the moment, that's because everyone in Hollywood is packing their bags and getting the last details sorted out to head to the Sundance Film Festival. Berlin, 2013 adds, Top of the Lake, Look of Love, etc.

If things seems a bit quiet, at least for the moment, that's because everyone in Hollywood is packing their bags and getting the last details sorted out to head to the Sundance Film Festival. Meanwhile across the pond, industry folks are also gearing up for their first major event of the movie year, the Berlin International Film Festival. And this year, they'll be getting quite a few titles that are making their debut in Park City.

Organizers continue to firm up their lineup and today they have rounded out their Panorma and Berlinale Special slate, so let's dive right in. In the former category, among the new entries selected for the festival are two which are sure to earn more than their share of attention: the James Franco co-directed "Interior. Leather Bar." and Shane Carruth's mysterious "Upstream Color." The former is a meta-documentary of sorts that uses the infamous "Cruising" as a jumping off point, while the latter is the latest brain teaser the man who brought you "Primer."

Over in the Berlinale Special, a number of auteurs are arriving. After premiering in Sundance, Jane Campion will haul the seven-hour TV miniseries starring Elisabeth Moss, "Top Of The Lake," overseas. Michael Winterbottom will also work his passport over as he'll be bringing his tale of porn/real estate magnate Paul Raymond to the big screen in "The Look Of Love." Not yet hitting stateside is Giuseppe Tornatore's "The Best Offer" which is receiving strong advance word, and is already being eyed by Sony Pictures Classics, while Tom Hooper's "Les Miserables" will also bellow from the rooftops. Finally, Ken Loach will show a new documentary, "Spirit Of '45."

See all the additions below. The Berlin International Film Festival runs from February 7-17.
