Best Cast Gets Better: Jennifer Lawrence Reunites With David O. Russell & Bradley Cooper For Abscam Film

So, what could make a cast with Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner, Amy Adams and Louis C.K. even better? How about some Jennifer Lawrence?

That's right, the Oscar-nominated actress has reteamed with David O. Russell, her "Silver Linings Playbook" director, for his untitled Abscam movie, aka "American Bullshit." Penned by Eric Singer, the film will tell the true story of a famed financial con artist (Bale) and his mistress/partner in crime (Adams) who were forced to work with an out of control federal agent (Cooper) to turn the tables on other con artists, mobsters and politicians. At the epicenter of the entire tale is the passionate and volatile leader of the New Jersey state assembly (Renner), who is also the local hero and mayor of impoverished Camden. Lawrence will play Bale's wife (faints), and while there's still no word yet on C.K.'s part, it's said to be a "key role."

This will mark Lawrence's third film with Cooper (including Susanne Bier's forthcoming "Serena"), so clearly they have a good thing going as well. Lensing kicks off next month, and we won't be surprised if this one races in under the wire to get into contention for next year's Oscars. Because, hot damn, that cast. [Deadline]

Don't underestimate Lawrences abilities, she's been nominated twice and we still haven't seen her full capabilities, because I dunno, she's 22 years old.She's only getting better and better, she's blowing ppl away now...watch out!

The scandal of it is that Weinberg's behavior was the reason behind his wife Marie's death. Weinberg was involved in the failed 1982 project and the current one as well. When I learned that Russell and Ellison were looking for another actress, I guessed that it concerned Marie. They have to somehow try and explain the damning 20/20 clips posted online.

Adams' role is bigger than Lawrence's which is a relief to everyone in the world.

Um I wouldn't dare but Lawrence in the same category as Adams. Lawrence is talented, but no where near as versatile as Adams. You think Lawrence could pull of Princess Gisele AND Charlene? Yeah right dude.

I was just thinking how it's a horrible picture of all three. Lawrence looks like a background dancer for Aguilera's "dirty" video, Cooper wants to fucking stab David O' Russell in the throat, and David O' Russell definitely knows it.

Cool but as long as Adams has a much larger and more prominent role. She needs to be nominated for Best Actress. NEEDS TO HAPPEN YA'LL!
