How do you sell a pretty funny-sounding comedy with a great ensemble case and interesting premise? It's not by releasing a still featuring the film's two stars in what looks like a picture that could be ripped from a catalog from your local area parks and recreation department.
Anyway, we'll take it for now, but this is our first look at "Wanderlust" starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston and we're pretty sure it's not indicative of what's in store from the film at all. Co-starring Malin Akerman, Ray Liotta, Alan Alda and Justin Theroux, the David Wain directed, Judd Apatow produced film centers on a married couple (Aniston, Rudd) who attempt to escape fast-paced modern, big city life by moving from New York to a commune. The film was co-written by Ken Marino and David Wain and with the cast in place, and Apatow looking on from above, we have high hopes.
As has been previously reported, Shudder To Think frontman Craig Wedren is scoring the film and it will hit theaters on October 7th. [Box Office Mojo]

Is it just me or do Rudd and Aniston look a bit odd as a married couple? It was easy to by them as best friends in The Object of My Affection, which was when they were younger. Something here seems a bit off, though. Granted, I like them both and Apatow, so I'll be seeing this for sure, but I'm not entirely sold by this pairing under these circumstances.
