As a young actress you can't get it better than than Mackenzie Foy and Joey King. The former is best known (to Twihards anyway) as Renesmee. the spawn of Edward and Bella finally fucking in "Breaking Dawn." Meanwhile, the latter has already made headlines spilling her spoilery role in "The Dark Knight Rises," while next summer, she's got another tentpole in the form of Sam Raimi's "Oz The Great And Powerful." But it looks like both actresses will have to pay their dues with a cheapie horror movie.

But it looks like both actresses will have to pay their dues with a cheapie horror movie.

First called "The Conjuring" and then untitled for a moment, the duo are coming aboard "Saw" creator and "Insidious" director James Wan's freshly named "The Warren Files." In a typical “The Amityville Horror”-style fashion, the film is based on the true-life account of the Perron Family (led by Lili Taylor and Ron Livingstone) and the paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) in the 1970s who investigate their haunted Rhode Island home. LOUD NOISES. No word yet on the girls' roles but we presume they are either the Perron children or some kind of ghosts or something. Whatever.

Anyway, this will probably follow the cheap budget/high profit template Wan has down to a science. No word yet on a release, but considering shooting starts in March, a Halloween bow isn't entirely out of the question. [Variety]
