10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesAn international trailer for "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" has arrived and yes, it still looks like the best worst thing ever that we're totally going to watch for the sword fighting on mountains. Anyway, it's mostly stuff you've seen before with enough new footage and scenes to make it interesting. Essentially, if you cut this with the first trailer and the Super Bowl spot, you'd get a pretty nifty long trailer. We're sure some nerd is working on that right now.
Meanwhile, did you watch ABC's "The River" last night? Neither did we, but a new spot for "John Carter" unveiled, showing off a bit more of where Disney's reportedly $300 million budget went. Big explosions, Taylor Kitsch's growly voice, epic CGI space worlds, aliens and shapeshifting? Again, we're not sure what John is fighting for or against or how swords still exist alongside lasers, but we're sure it'll all be explained. And this is rated PG-13 so it seems Disney is really pushing the envelope here. Or something.
'Retaliation' opens on June 29th while "John Carter" arrives on March 9th. Watch below. [via Bleeding Cool]
