In the works for what's coming on two years now, and once mooted for Reese Witherspoon, the raunchy comedy "Sex Tape" -- that has had Jason Segel and director Jake Kasdan attached to direct for a while now -- has finally landed its leading lady. And it looks like we're in for a full blown "Bad Teacher" reunion.
Cameron Diaz, who helped turn that comedy into an unexpected smash hit, spawning a TV spinoff starring Ari Graynor (though no word on if it made it past pilot stage), will join Segel in "Sex Tape." The Kate Angelo-penned story follows a married couple who take a night off from their kids and decide to spice up their lives by making a sex tape. But when they wake up the next morning from their night of amateur porno making, the tape is gone and they have to track it down. It's a pretty good concept, and both Segel and Diaz certainly had the comedic chemistry down in "Bad Teacher," even if the movie didn't always work, so we're hopeful this'll work out.
