Sequels and remakes, that's the name of the game these days, so let's dive into the latest looks at two movies that fit into both categories.
First up is "Carrie," with a new snap of Chloe Moretz as the titular teen, as she gets ready to go to prom, which we all know, will definitely be unforgettable. Tackling Brian De Palma's classic adaptation of Stephen King's novel is certainly ballsy, but we're eager to see what Kimberly Peirce can bring into the equation. The other dude in the pic? That's Ansel Englort who, for better or worse, is Carrie's date. The movie graduates into theaters on October 18th.
Meanwhile, another visit to Asgard is coming up with "Thor: The Dark World," with "Game Of Thrones" helmer Alan Taylor mounting the biggest effort his career. A few new snaps have dropped giving a look at Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) as well as the Dark Elf army, who look about one mask tweak away from being those orgy weirdos in "Eyes Wide Shut." Can 'Dark World' continue Marvel's billion dollar streak? Find out on November 8th. [Comic Book Movie]
