10 Essential Cinematic Antiheroes
This writer is a fan of Pixar films but has honestly never bothered to throw "Cars" into the DVD player. The "talking cars" thing never really resonated, and we never made it a priority to catch up with it. We suppose we will at some point, but this latest teaser for the upcoming "Cars 2" doesn't give us much of a reason.
Using a really tired "Mission: Impossible" parody/gag motif, the adventures of Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and Mater (Larry The Cable Guy; the other reason we haven't been in a rush to watch this) will be taking on an international focus if the concept art galleries are anything to go by. The only reason we're even remotely looking forward to this sequel is that it will be preceeded by a new "Toy Story" short film.
You can watch the teaser after the jump. The film hits theaters next summer on June 24th.
