The return of Spike Jonze is an exciting prospect on its own but with Joaquin Phoenix as his lead and three leading ladies along side him in Amy Adams, Rooney Mara and Olivia Wilde, we're delightfully anticpating his upcoming, untitled project. Apparently centering a man who falls in love with a Siri-like computer voice presumably on an iPhone device, we now have a couple of set photos of a mustached Phoenix running around a subway station before lazing around on a Manhattan beach.

Well, "Prometheus" is a success (at least financially), openingly strongly this weekend with the best R-rated numbers since "Paranormal Activity 3" last fall. But if you've now seen the movie and think that's all there is, guess again. The viral campaign for the movie continues with a new video, a book and a mysterious date to keep the chatter going.

“Thor 2” is losing one of the Warriors Three, the Hollywood Reporter is reporting. Josh Dallas won’t be reprising his role as Fandral due to his schedule for ABC’s hit fairy tale show, “Once Upon A Time.” Instead, “Chuck” star Zachary Levi is in talks to take over the role that he initially had to turn down when the cult NBC comedy had its season three order extended.

Sorry Guys, Christopher Nolan Says He Won't Be Making Any More Batman Movies

You would think, with Christopher Nolan more or less saying for a while now that "The Dark Knight Rises" was going to be his last time in Gotham, and with advertising for the film clearly stating that it's "The Epic Conclusion" to his series of Batman films, that talk about a possible fourth film would be quelled. Not so. Recently, Christian Bale was asked by the Spanish edition of Rolling Stone magazine if he would suit up again as Batman. “No, this is the last of this Batman era. Unless Nolan wants to do another," he replied. Well, fanboys in some quarters held onto the latter half of that quote like a life preserver on the Titanic, but in case it wasn't obvious already, it's not going to happen.

While the youngsters of "Project X" filled out Warner Bros. dudes-getting-drunk-and-into-trouble niche this year to the tune of $94 million worldwide (not bad for a low budget movie with no big names attached to it), in 2013 The Wolfpack will be back to show 'em how it's done in "The Hangover Part III." And while chatter has been pretty steady ever since "The Hangover Part II" about what the final entry of the series will involve, it now seems like a clearer picture is emerging of what the movie will entail.

Hello, and happy Friday! There is quite a presence of quieter subject matter this week, including an unassuming musician and Edward Cullen playing a human version of his lothario self. But of course, no shortage of big screen adventures in 3D either. And, amidst the hailstorm of big-budget summer flicks, I’ve been wondering the following: is Hollywood working toward an ultra version of the big-budget summer flick? Combining the hugest ideas into the über-Blockbuster, if you will. For example, what would happen if a bunch of animals and Snow White were shot into space with a team of androids, began to wreak mass pandemonium on the galaxy, and had to be put down by the ultimate intergalactic crimefighting team of the Men in Black and the Avengers? Well, maybe that’s the subject of the fourth installment of the “Madagascar” franchise. Or the plot to the "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel that was just announced. Fingers crossed, but until then, here are the movies that are actually being released.
