While the joys of "Moonrise Kingdom" are still reserved for those that managed to see it at the Cannes Film Festival or in the handful of cities it opened in last weekend, it looks like there will be even more to enjoy from Wes Anderson's forthcoming film.

Music biopics come and go, but this spring minds were blown when the always awesome Michael K. Williams was cast as Ol' Dirty Bastard in the film "Dirty White Boy." Of course, any movie involving ODB has to include the Wu-Tang Clan, and the idea of trying to find actors to fill those roles would be a mind-boggling challenge. But likely, the filmmakers don't have to worry about that.

Beautiful girl in a white tank top? Check. Low rent horror concept? Check. Lots of running around and missed cell phone calls? Check. Looks like all the ingredients are in place "The House At The End Of The End Street," the latest low-grade horror movie to feature an actress who has since moved on to much bigger and better things.

With joints creaking, insurers likely charging high premiums, and Bengay likely being brought on set by the boatload, Sylvester Stallone has rounded up his action hero old timers for "The Best Exotic Marigold Hail Of Bullets" aka "The Expendables 2." In short, it takes all your favorite action heros over the age of 50, who were never great actors to begin with, and puts them all in the same movie. Promising!

Joe Eszterhas Turns His Scary Encounter With Mel Gibson Into An eBook 'Heaven And Mel'

The last credit Joe Eszterhas has for screenplay work is in 2006, for the Hungarian film "Children Of Glory" (he also got his name on "Basic Instinct 2" for creating the characters). And while he made brief headlines last year when his new script "Lust" got music video helmer Hype Williams attached, nothing has been heard since. In fact, he's now most famous for being on the unfortunate end of a Mel Gibson tirade, one that he used to help boost the profile of The Wrap who breathlessly and desperate wrung every drop out of the story (and of course, reported on this). And now, he's written a 30,000 word book about the ordeal. We're not fucking kidding.

For those of you who were fans of Guy Ritchie's earlier, grittier, more indie-style works like "Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels," "Snatch." or even "RocknRolla," and are hoping he might return to that kind of fare....you'll have to keep waiting. Ritchie revitalized his career by going franchise, and has made Warner Bros. very happy helming the "Sherlock Holmes" films starring Robert Downey Jr., which combined have brought in over $1 billion worldwide. Not surprisingly, they want him to do the same with another property.

Can a movie about male stripping become the sleeper hit of the summer? Warner Bros. is certainly hoping so, and with Channing Tatum already 2/2 with "The Vow" and "21 Jump Street," the odds are looking very good that "Magic Mike" -- which also boasts Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello among the hunktacular cast -- could cap off a helluva 2012 for the actor.

Today marks the release of “Snow White and The Huntsman,” and for those on the Universal lot, the occasion is one filled with quiet anticipation as the audience numbers come trickling back. Only two weeks after “Battleship” fell alongside that cinematic punching bag “John Carter” as one of this year's box office failures, the studio is now looking at its Kristen Stewart vehicle in a new light, basically pulling an about-face after so confidently exploring a vast future for it in the past few weeks.

While many would like to throw slasher films back into the very annals of film history, it comes as no surprise to horror fans that titles like “Friday the 13th” and “Nightmare on Elm Street” generate big business over countless sequels – and now remakes. The franchise of slasher films under the “Leprechaun” moniker – slasher films being probably the only genre you could comfortably group it into – has been a curious one from the start. Perhaps best known for an early career performance by Jennifer Aniston in the 1993 original, along with the always bonkers performance of “Willow” actor Warwick Davis as the titular monster, the franchise has seen the green-tinged one go from the suburbs to space and even 'Back 2 Da Hood' over six entries.
