'Pariah' Director Dee Rees To Helm Indie Love Story 'This Man, This Woman'

Director Dee Rees hasn't been in any particular hurry to follow up the acclaimed and excellent "Pariah," but she's not without options. Earlier this year it was reported she was writing a new film entitled "Large Print," about a recently divorced, mid-50s insurance adjuster, she's got a thriller called "Bolo" she's developing with Focus Features and she's working on a project at HBO with Viola Davis. Well, now her slate is beginning to get a little more crowded.

Looks like "Fast & Furious 6" is getting fuel injected with some kick-ass estrosgen. With Gina Carano joining the pic last week and Rihanna being rumored to play the villain (while reps stay noticeably mum, though not denying anything), a familiar female face is returning to the gearhead series.

With its Cannes premiere only a few short weeks away, Walter Salles’ upcoming Kerouac adaptation “On The Road” has almost matched “The Dark Knight Rises” in terms of publicity, with character posters for seemingly every credit on the film and stills galore.
