With the release of Matthew Vaughn's "X-Men: First Class" just a few months away, expect the marketing to kick into full gear very soon. Despite reports of a rushed production the film is still looking like the best of the comic contenders this summer and it now has a couple of fresh pieces of artwork to keep the faithful interested.
Danish site FilmZ (via ComingSoon) has revealed two new character posters focusing on Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) whose fractured relationship serves as the basis for the film. Not sure what else to say except they look solid, evincing a refreshingly different tone from the goofier marketing material from the other comic franchises.
Starring McAvoy, Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), January Jones (Emma Frost), Oliver Platt (Man In Black), Caleb Landry (Banshee), Lucas Till (Havoc), Edi Gathegi (Darwin), Jason Flemyng (Azazel), Zoe Kravitz (Angel) and Kevin Bacon as the evil Sebastian Shaw. The film will school audiences on June 3rd. Check out the big versions below.
