Update: According to HitFix writer Alan Sepinwall, AMC says the July 14th date tweeted by Aaron Paul is not correct.

If you've got plans next summer, you might want to double check 'em. One of the biggest TV events of the year (besides the return of "Arrested Development") has now set a date for the beginning of the end.

"Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul tweeted that the show will be back on July 14th, kicking off the eight episodes that will wind down the adventures of Walt and Jesse. And this is one you'll want to be watching week-by-week, instead of waiting to catch the whole season at once, as everyone will be talking. Creator Vince Gilligan recently teased that his finale will be "polarizing," adding that, "It just makes sense to me that bad people should get punished and good people should be rewarded. I know it doesn’t work like that in real life, but there’s always that yearning.” So do you think Walt will get out alive?

So check your calendar, rearrange vacation plans and you might want to bow out of that wedding RSVP. "Breaking Bad" is just seven months away. [ComingSoon]

What breaking bad does so well is blend the lines of what is wrong and right. Who is bad or good. As stands now, only Hank is the true good guy. Jesse is good, why? Because he feels remorse for children etc.? He still is an addict, dealer and a murderer. No Jesse, no Walt downward spiral and vice-versa. Not that I don't feel for Jesse's character and I do want him to be alright in the end but the lines are simply blurred on who is good in a bad man's world.

The fact that he said that "good people should be rewarded" makes me really hopeful that Jesse will end up alright.
